Floor & Decor — Local services in Tomball

I have been to five Floor and Decor in Houston area (in search of a tile I wanted) - all of them are good but this store is the best, to top it off it is close to my home too. It is almost like they adopt a culture and I have never seen them unwilling to help or never walk away from you saying "I dont work in this department" as is the case with Walmart. Kudos to the management. I know a few of them at this store by name - Jesse, Brandy, German are all very helpful. Jesse is a dream to work with, she reaches out to her co-workers to get the answers, follows up by giving me a call and at the store she beats every expectation, very knowledgeable too.

I would like to see two improvements - when returning goods purchased with credit card, they seem to refund cash (noticed on multiple occasions). Why pay credit card companies commission and refund us cash! Second - when tiles purchased from different F&D stores are returned (because you always buy a few extra), they seem to trash the tiles unless the same tile is in stock. I understand tiles are not easy to transport (darn LFTs are heavy) between stores but some improvement to avoid trashing...

This is a difficult one to review we've been going to floor and decor for many many years so we know exactly what to expect this location is brand new it's bright it has good parking lot it had very good inventory and had very helpful people. We were approached by a staff member about every 30 seconds and asked if we had any questions or if we needed any help it was difficult for my wife and I to have a conversation or make it down a row of tiles we are seldom rude people but they did test our limits. It really degraded the shopping experience for us. To be fair I think they were having some sort of staff meeting and I'm sure the people in charge were emphasizing customer service and we may have been the only customers in the store at that moment

I'm sure they will get better at it and they surely will get buisser but if two people are taking and they aren't looking around with a confused look please leave them alone even if you only...

I absolutely LOVE this store! My experience with everyone at the Tomball location has been superior, which is why I refuse to return to Sugar Land, located 5 miles from my home. I would rather drive 45 minutes to be treated with care and respect; hat being said in my opinion the two super stars in the Tomball Floor & Decor are Jayda and Gissel. Both of these ladies take the time needed to explain the quality of the stone you may be attracted and give you guidance in completing your project. Most importantly they do it with ease and a smile which goes a long way for me.

I also appreciate the other works at this store as everyone greets you and asks if you need help, you won't get that type of attention at the Sugar Land store.
