Smalls Sliders — Restaurant in Tomball

I really wanted to give Small Sliders a better rating. The concept is fantastic: the building made of shipping containers is cool, clean, and modern, and the simple menu (sliders, fries, drinks) is brilliant.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. I visited on a slow Saturday afternoon and used the walk-up window, where I had to knock repeatedly just to be acknowledged by staff who were clearly visible inside. I ordered a Kids Meal (slider, fries, soda), and the $7.03 price already felt steep for the size.

The wait time was frustratingly long for such a simple order. After 10+ minutes, and after another couple who ordered after me had already received their food, I had to knock and wait again for roughly three minutes. Employees looked at me but willfully chose not to acknowledge me until I finally got attention. It was clear the staff had forgotten my order and there was no apology for the delay.

When the food finally came, the portions were tiny: an anemic slider, maybe five waffle fries, and a small soda. The value for $7.03 was simply not there. While the facility looks great, the neglectful service and poor food value mean I won't be returning or recommending this location.

Very slow with food that can't compensate for the bad experience. On a Sunday evening at 6pm, we waited 28 minutes from driving up to scooting away. We pulled into the drive through area right away. No super long line, maybe 12 cars areas of us. It has the look of Chick-fil-A ordering with zero efficiency. The 2 people taking orders told us they were waiting to take further orders until some cars moved up. Then when they took the orders, they were hollering back and forth to each other to arrange who would submit the order next and which car to follow. Very disorganized and annoying. Then we sat there listening to inappropriate music with explicit lyrics. Payment isn't taken while ordering but at the window, slowing things down. It's not a lack of employees, they were like ants inside. It appears everything is lacking organization or management.

Sauce to dip fries in is extra. Otherwise they're dry. The slider itself was decent but overpriced. The food comes in a styrofoam takeaway box in a plastic grocery bag. Very wasteful and trashy looking. Our family decided that even though it's the closest fast food to us, it would be quicker and taste better to drive further. It's possible most of the experience is corporate decisions and at 40 I'm "too old" for this...

Came on over for lunch and was not disappointed! The sliders are so cute and a good size. They come with one patty each, but you have the option to add another patty and bacon. The bread is nicely toasted and soft. The only thing I'd opt more for is extra pickles. I like a bite of pickle with each bite, bc they were so good! The fries were hot, fresh, and had a nice crisp to them and coated with a cajun seasoning of sorts, and not spicy, but tasty for sure. Also, get an extra side of smauce for your dipping pleasures!

This place is an outdoor seating only, but they have the area fully covered and have fans outdoors. It provided a great breeze while I sat and waited for my food. Excited to go back and get some...
