I have been here for both covid testing and urgent care visits. Read below for my experience with both.
Had a very bad eye infection in both eyes. Went here and saw the nurse practitioner. The visit went really well. The nurse practitioner was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends. Thank you to the nurse practitioner for helping me get well. She was definitely extremely intelligent, friendly and helpful. She was also great at answering all my questions.
I also got tested for covid outside in the blue tent outside of the urgent care a month ago. I would recommend their drive up covid testing it was very fast and easy. You get the results later the same day. I tested around lunch time and they called me around 5pm with my results. There was no line to get tested when I went and the lady who tested me came right up to the car window. There wasn’t a ton of paper work to fill out and with blue cross it was free. They used the new “shorter” nose swabs to test here. It is uncomfortable for hair a second but it is fast and isn’t horrible. They just take a swab and stick it up your nose and before you know it, the rest is done. I believe that the person giving the test makes all the difference in the experience you have. Thank you to the woman out there swabbing and doing the tests. You are much appreciated.
My only con? There was one lady the worked at the front desk of the urgent care I felt could’ve been a little more friendly. Not a huge deal but worth mentioning. Oh well, she could’ve been having a bad day. I don’t really have any cons otherwise and I rate this as 5 stars. I see some other people didn’t get their test results back right away. I got mine back by the end up the day just like they told me I would. This drive up covid testing is WAY better than having to go IN a clinic and waiting in a waiting room for over an hour. At least you don’t really have to get out of your car and expose yourself to others and it’s very fast to get tested! Even if you did get your results back the next day, it’s worth it to not sit in a waiting room and get covid from others. Like I said I got my results back the same day and that’s what they advertise. I suppose everyone makes mistakes though so keep...
Read moreI am always amazed by the exceptional care and experience I have received at Genesis Medical Group in Tomball. Throughout our military travels, I never had the opportunity to build a lasting relationship with a primary care provider until now, and it has been an incredible transformation for both my husband and me.
The Nurses and Doctors at Genesis Medical Group have completely altered my perception of PCPs. Every visit has been nothing short of exceptional, and the staff's dedication to patient care is evident in every interaction. Their passion for their work and genuine care for patients create an uplifting and positive atmosphere.
I couldn't help but share my amazing experiences with my husband, and he has now switched from using the VA to joining me at Genesis Medical Group. The entire staff, including the providers, has won him over with their compassion and have helped him through some really difficult times.
Carmen Broussard, in particular, has been a life-changer for us. She has a remarkable ability to make me feel heard and valued during each visit. Her attentiveness and dedication have been instrumental in my current success, and she has helped me understand certain diagnoses better, significantly improving my overall quality of life.
Additionally, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Breanne Marfisi for her excellent care and support. I had an amazing experience with her when I was feeling absolutely lost in life and she asked me to trust that she could help me figure out what was going on when I was hesitant on any kind of new medications. I am thankful that she was there to help me during this time.
The impact of Genesis Medical Group on our lives is immeasurable. Words cannot express how thankful we are for Carmen, Breanne, and the entire team. They have become an integral part of our lives, and we owe so much of our well-being to their outstanding care.
Without a doubt, Genesis Medical Group is truly the best of the best. The compassion, expertise, and genuine love for what they do make this place exceptional. As a patient, I couldn't have asked for a better healthcare experience, and I eagerly look forward to continuing my...
Read moreI am giving 4 stars, the back of the house - wonderful keep up the great work, but I do have a suggestion for the owner Dr. Ellent to address to his front staff.
Front desk definitely needs to be more cheerful. Went in the other day to ask for the suite number to imaging. This was my first time getting all these tests done so I was a bit confused. There were about six women in the front just fiddling around and conversing during the rain - I get it a small break here and there may be needed.
It was raining hard and it looked like no one wanted to work. When I walked in, no said "How can I help you?"
They just stared - what an uncomfortable feeling. So I stared back and still to my surprise no one offerrd to help me or engaged until I set my eyes on an older lady sitting down left hand side facing the entry door who knew I needed assistance.
However, there was a woman standing next to her who rolled her eyes when I asked the lady sitting down - "Is there a suite number to the imaging center?" I thought to myself - why the eye rolling? It was just a simple question. I was lost.
I thought it was very rude and disrespectful being that I was just asking a question. It honestly looked like she did not want to be there and she was clearly tired and bored - tired of all the clients? Who knows. But I did get a mixed vibe from it.
I don't like to complain, but her facial expression put a stain on my cheerful attitude moving on with my day.
The front desk must remember-they are first impression and last impression of this business. Put a smile on your face, change the attitude, when a person walks through the front entry engage properly by offering assistance and keep your attitude at home-do not bring it to work.
Also, when someone walks in, address them so they don't feel out of place, scared, or uncomfortable. This is a cancer testing center. Who knows what they are going through.
Your attitude...
