Someone Call Gordon Ramsay, please?
I'm baffled as to why people rate this place as good. Maybe salad and pizza is the winning combo? Because it can't be anything else they're eating!
It gets an extra star just because the waiter did his job and he returned a gross meal to the kitchen no questions asked.
The location, elevator music and fireplace was fine and gave a promising first impression. Four staff members standing talking at the host podium was a red flag but we continued on because maybe they were just in training.
Appetizer bread rolls were somewhat burnt and tasted like generic Pizza Hut or Domino's bread, minus the heavy garlic butter sauce. Beef lasagna flavor good. Sauce tasted about the same as jarred Raos, that was okay. Lots of cheese inside lasagna was good. Sadly, the beef texture was really chunky and rubbery so that messed it up. (Frozen pizza assembly meat I fear)
Vegetable side is quite firm, almost raw and have a really good smoke flavor. However, if someone has sensitive or weak teeth steer clear or ask them to cook it more! Bread was not delivered with meal as advertised on menu. (But that's okay) Meals do not include a side or salad.
Chicken francaise is slimy and smelled odd and void of color. Maybe that's just how francaise is supposed to be? The meat in the Chicken Siciliano was overcooked and smelled kinda expired even though very thoroughly cooked. The sauce on top, capers and artichokes were pretty tasty though. I thought the dish would be better with linguine or bowtie instead of spaghetti noodles and fresh or marinated chicken. Portion size was quite large.
Waiter was friendly and well groomed but only comes by to take order or deliver food. Shake out dry parmesan on table instead of fresh on request like olive garden, etc. No fun non-alcoholic drinks except sodas or tea.
Overall, we thought we've had better frozen Bertoli meals for way less money I'm baffled as to why people rate this place as good. Maybe the salad and pizza with a cocktail is the winning combo here?Because it can't be anything else they're eating!

Overall, we agreed that the frozen Bertoli meals in a bag tasted better than this place, so we won't ever go there again or recommend and are completely dumbfounded by the popularity of...
Read moreAdriatic Cafe in Tomball is hands down one of our favorite restaurants. Whether for a nice dinner out, or just because we don't feel like cooking on a Tuesday night. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff is always top notch! It is rare that you see any of the staff members idle. If they are not serving food, taking orders, or bussing tables, they are dusting the entry way, stocking wine, or just taking pride in their work environment. From the managers right down to the bus staff, everyone there is pleasant and polite. Past that the food is absolutely amazing. I always get a pizza, and my wife always gets the spaghetti, and we always have plenty left to take home for the next evening's dinner. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients, and the quality of the food speaks for itself. The two of us can eat, and have enough leftovers for the next day for less than it would cost to get mediocre pizza delivered to the house and its always nice to enjoy a nice dining experience. If there happens to be any issue with your order the staff is quick and efficient to make sure that it is corrected and that you are happy with your experience. OHHH and the warm fresh rolls are to die for. I have to be careful or I will not have room for dinner.. LOL Although we have had many staff wait on our table and they are all fantastic, we highly recommend Mikayla. She is by far our favorite waitress here. To the Adriatic team.... Keep doing what you are doing the way you have always done it. This will continue to keep the parking lot full and the community coming back. Y'all do an...
Read moreWent to the Tomball location on 8/2/24 for a late dinner for my youngest's birthday. Two hosts in blue shirts as you enter and a hispanic male mngr in a beige plaid shirt playing host. Mngr. got upset at us because my party of 4 did not feel comfortable at a table the size for one customer max two and with 4 chairs, next to two tables with parties of 8-10 people and another party of 4-6 people needless to say that it was too loud sitting two ft away from the three tables. So we saw an empty table against a wall with a bench and chairs so I asked the waitress if we could move there-she said yes. Mngr walked by 2 mins later and instead of pulling waitress to the side and discreetly and professionally asking her to retract from her approval that he evidently loathed, he raised his voice at her to reprimand her to tell her that we weren't supposed to be allowed at that table. We stood our ground and ignored him just like him not realizing we were not there for a free meal. Yet he as a mngr did not ask us himself to move, never did he make eye contact with us much less apologize for his inappropriate behavior. It seemed as his judgement was clouded with anger that kept him from maintaining his composure in the presence of at least 20 paying customers. He literally almost threw a tantrum on the floor like a 2 yr old. What did the owner see in this immature and disrespectful guy to give him a night mngr position? And doing the job of a host without any common sense Made our experience really awkward, uncomfortable and of course felt not welcomed--total opposite of what a mngr should provide to...
