Someone Call Gordon Ramsay, please?

I'm baffled as to why people rate this place as good. Maybe salad and pizza is the winning combo? Because it can't be anything else they're eating!

It gets an extra star just because the waiter did his job and he returned a gross meal to the kitchen no questions asked.

The location, elevator music and fireplace was fine and gave a promising first impression. Four staff members standing talking at the host podium was a red flag but we continued on because maybe they were just in training.

Appetizer bread rolls were somewhat burnt and tasted like generic Pizza Hut or Domino's bread, minus the heavy garlic butter sauce. Beef lasagna flavor good. Sauce tasted about the same as jarred Raos, that was okay. Lots of cheese inside lasagna was good. Sadly, the beef texture was really chunky and rubbery so that messed it up. (Frozen pizza assembly meat I fear)

Vegetable side is quite firm, almost raw and have a really good smoke flavor. However, if someone has sensitive or weak teeth steer clear or ask them to cook it more! Bread was not delivered with meal as advertised on menu. (But that's okay) Meals do not include a side or salad.

Chicken francaise is slimy and smelled odd and void of color. Maybe that's just how francaise is supposed to be? The meat in the Chicken Siciliano was overcooked and smelled kinda expired even though very thoroughly cooked. The sauce on top, capers and artichokes were pretty tasty though. I thought the dish would be better with linguine or bowtie instead of spaghetti noodles and fresh or marinated chicken. Portion size was quite large.

Waiter was friendly and well groomed but only comes by to take order or deliver food. Shake out dry parmesan on table instead of fresh on request like olive garden, etc. No fun non-alcoholic drinks except sodas or tea.

Overall, we thought we've had better frozen Bertoli meals for way less money I'm baffled as to why people rate this place as good. Maybe the salad and pizza with a cocktail is the winning combo here?Because it can't be anything else they're eating!

Overall, we agreed that the frozen Bertoli meals in a bag tasted better than this place, so we won't ever go there again or recommend and are completely dumbfounded by the popularity of...

Adriatic Cafe in Tomball is hands down one of our favorite restaurants. Whether for a nice dinner out, or just because we don't feel like cooking on a Tuesday night. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff is always top notch! It is rare that you see any of the staff members idle. If they are not serving food, taking orders, or bussing tables, they are dusting the entry way, stocking wine, or just taking pride in their work environment. From the managers right down to the bus staff, everyone there is pleasant and polite. Past that the food is absolutely amazing. I always get a pizza, and my wife always gets the spaghetti, and we always have plenty left to take home for the next evening's dinner. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients, and the quality of the food speaks for itself. The two of us can eat, and have enough leftovers for the next day for less than it would cost to get mediocre pizza delivered to the house and its always nice to enjoy a nice dining experience. If there happens to be any issue with your order the staff is quick and efficient to make sure that it is corrected and that you are happy with your experience. OHHH and the warm fresh rolls are to die for. I have to be careful or I will not have room for dinner.. LOL Although we have had many staff wait on our table and they are all fantastic, we highly recommend Mikayla. She is by far our favorite waitress here. To the Adriatic team.... Keep doing what you are doing the way you have always done it. This will continue to keep the parking lot full and the community coming back. Y'all do an...

Went to the Tomball location on 8/2/24 for a late dinner for my youngest's birthday. Two hosts in blue shirts as you enter and a hispanic male mngr in a beige plaid shirt playing host. Mngr. got upset at us because my party of 4 did not feel comfortable at a table the size for one customer max two and with 4 chairs, next to two tables with parties of 8-10 people and another party of 4-6 people needless to say that it was too loud sitting two ft away from the three tables. So we saw an empty table against a wall with a bench and chairs so I asked the waitress if we could move there-she said yes. Mngr walked by 2 mins later and instead of pulling waitress to the side and discreetly and professionally asking her to retract from her approval that he evidently loathed, he raised his voice at her to reprimand her to tell her that we weren't supposed to be allowed at that table. We stood our ground and ignored him just like him not realizing we were not there for a free meal. Yet he as a mngr did not ask us himself to move, never did he make eye contact with us much less apologize for his inappropriate behavior. It seemed as his judgement was clouded with anger that kept him from maintaining his composure in the presence of at least 20 paying customers. He literally almost threw a tantrum on the floor like a 2 yr old. What did the owner see in this immature and disrespectful guy to give him a night mngr position? And doing the job of a host without any common sense Made our experience really awkward, uncomfortable and of course felt not welcomed--total opposite of what a mngr should provide to...

Thank you thank you thank you Joshua for an elegant and unique dining pleasure. What an amazing waiter. This is what makes or breaks restaurants. We never had to ask for more water or tea at anytime. Joshua while running circles around other waiters and waitresses always checked on us as he passed our table. Joshua made us feel like Family and not just another customer. Now for the food it came out as ordered and was certainly delicious. Joshua also ensured that I received a Military discount too. I asked for his Manager so that we could celebrate his professionalism and outstanding service. Manager George was appreciative and thanked Joshua for his hard work in front of us. Now enjoy the pictures of left overs and dessert lol. We will be back and always ask for Joshua. GOD Bless you Brother Joshua you made our night. 2-13-25 Thank you very much Irena for being such an amazing server and Friend. We always look forward to your awesome Family service. We certainly feel at home when you wait on us. Till next time keep that beautiful smile going. 3-15-2025 wanna say thank you to my new waitress Olivia who did an outstanding job for it only being her third day as a waitress here. Amazing service with a great personality. Also want to say thank you to George the manager who provided this wonderful lemon Jell-O cake. please come by and see my friends. They are amazing. They always make you feel at home. Enjoy the pictures.

Geez ... Hopefully everyone who reads a review understands it is completely subjective ... with that being said and coupled with the fact that I just don't get "American" Italian food ... this establishment just like every other Italian restaurant just didn't do it for me. The best part for me was my server Irena and the Moretti beer I was drinking. I really wish I understood what folks like about bland tasting marinara/tomato sauce and pasta. I continuously am made to believe that I can cook better "Italian" at home. I did order the calamari ... not impressed ... a little too greasy for me ... I also was feeling a bit under the weather, so I went with the Chicken noodle soup (I know not something one would typically order at an Italian restaurant), but that was a mistake ... had a really weird taste to it and the noodles were not the traditional noodles you would think would be in a chicken noodle soup. The Italian sausage in marinara was actually pretty good, so it was not a total loss. So Adriatic don't take it personally, but just like most other Italian restaurants, I probably will not return ... but without my business, you guys are definitely not hurting, because the place was packed and your 4+ Star rating means you are doing something right!

My wife and I tried out Adratic because our friends gave rave reviews about the free bread athey give you at the table and the pizza. So we decided to try them out. I really wanted this to go well. I ordered to go a specialty Chicken Alfredo pizza and a chicken parm sandwich. Which we immediately tried in the parking lot. Results: At first glance it looked awesom but Man was this pizza terrible! The sauce was oily and tasteless, the chicken was dry and overcooked and the mozz was bland. Was this their specialty???? The chicken parm was also terrible! The chicken was dry, the bread seemed stale and the marinara was sub par. I had to add my own seasonings to salvage the sandwich. If you want to pay premium prices for bland, tasteless food go see them. I will not be going back........with one exception. The free bread(which they made me pay $4 for to go) was FANTASTIC. I mean hey at least something was good.
