Also review was made prior to talking to Dakota and prior to you calling, was not made after the refund as you stated below ( your text with reversal to prove )
Furthermore the fact the response is a rant rather than a simple professional response to an unhappy customer shows how attitude was during the interaction.
You can certainly defend your actions without lieing. God Bless.

I bought a car freshener the day before Mother's Day. I've never had issues buying them prior from here so didn't think anything of it.
It melted two days later in the car.
Wasn't upset as I've dealt with the store before and have never had an issue.
Returned it. Wasn't a Karen, because i believed at the time I would be treated fairly. Even though the amount of times " this has never happened before are you sure it was in your car hung ?" Was said.
Regardless, I choose to approach with grace and was told it would be ready the following week after they reached their vender.
Two weeks passed and I reached out again and was told it would be by beginning of the following week. No big deal. Again; this is a little issue and there's more pressing issues in life.
Was called and told it was ready. Came five days later or so and had my daughter run in to grab it.
She came out and that's when my opinion changed on the fairness of how they corrected their mistake.
The cross "faith" car fresher was HALF the size of the original one and didn't have the word faith on it. Like the original did. When I tell you small, I mean small. I looked back at the original melted one as it's been some time. Not the same thickness or length and the most obvious missing the word faith.
The receipt to the original purchase was stapled on shows $14.95 For the one I bought, fair price. Was huge and had the detail .
This one I could have bought from a local mom or seller on Facebook for $6.99.
So incredibly disappointed that while I approached this with grace and patience that the owner didn't double check a paying customer was dealt with fairly on a mistake on...
Read moreMy $1,000 Mistake – Disappointed with Silver Strawberry’s Service
I’m sad to say that my experience with Silver Strawberry was disappointing, despite its reputation for unique items and friendly service. I came to the shop, referred by a trusted source, to have some items embroidered. I’d seen their work before, so I had full confidence going in.
I visited in person, dropped off my items, and provided specific instructions based on my logo. I also emailed my logo to ensure accuracy. Brooke assisted me, taking notes on what looked like a company form, but I felt during the intake process she was distracted due to several interruptions. A week later, I received a photo of my logo design via text—no details, just an image with a ruler for size reference. I had a few questions but ultimately approved, because to me colors looked correct on my phone and the work was what I asked for.
Unfortunately, when I went to pick up my items, the colors were wrong. My logo is orange, but the form listed “red.” Brooke acknowledged the error and reordered my clothing items to correct it but they also kept my items that I had already paid for. Once the new items arrived, Michelle called me, who seemed hesitant to fully resolve the issue and I believe she had some sticker shock when she saw how much my items cost. Sympathizing, I accepted responsibility for approving the photo, understanding that colors can sometimes appear distorted on a phone. I even suggested they include color details with images to avoid such issues in the future.
I offered to cover half the cost of the reorder, as I empathize with the challenges small businesses face, being an entrepreneur myself. However, despite identifying the exact thread color to prevent further issues, I later learned that they didn’t carry that color. At this point, I decided it would be best to retrieve my items and offered again to pay half of the reorder cost in good faith. I had already paid for the initial embroidery work.
Regrettably, Michelle was unwilling to take any accountability for her team’s role or for the lack of process around color or detail confirmation. In the end, I paid in full for the original items, despite the error.
While Silver Strawberry may have a loyal following, my experience left me disappointed. I hope they will consider implementing a clearer communication process to prevent similar issues for...
Read moreIt hurts my heart to leave this review as a teacher. I was referred here by a coworker I’m the daughter of 2 police officer's. I understand as a black person how the media sometimes portrays us isn’t always in the best light but we are not all thieves or bad people. I got asked multiple times if I was looking for anything and I was just looking. When I did start looking for things I was constantly being watched. I even tried to have a conversation to ease the tension and it still didn’t work. I quickly got my stuff and was on the way to the register and i couldn’t even bring my own stuff to the counter:(. What are you guys trying to say exactly? Because once I noticed I was the only person of color in there and was the only one constantly being asked if I was okay. I’ll leave you with this I have 2 jobs I can buy anything I want in this store. I also did buy every thing I guess you assumed I was going to steal in my job shirt!! My dad is a police chief & my mom is retired from hpd and now works in the NFL if I didn’t have the money they would have sent it to me. I loved your store but because of the way I was treated I’ll never return. You guys need to stop this it’s 2024. It’s really going to hurt your business if you don’t stop...
