OMGOODNESS!!!! I just cannot explain how wonderful this little cafe is.
We went for breakfast at around 7:45. Upon entering, you are greeted with a small, quaint display of the name of this restaurant. Heirloom. The beautiful French decor is lovely and inviting. There are menus with instructions to order at the counter. By the time you arrive at the counter ready to order, the young lady will have your cups filled with ice ready for your party.
If this is your first time for breakfast, she may help by suggesting "The Classic" so you can have a taste of their delightfully fresh eggs, perfectly seasoned pan potatoes, amazingly tasteful sour dough bread and extremely fresh fruit. Be sure you have a big appetite. That's a substantial amount of food.
I had "The Petite". It was even too much for me: 2 eggs (PERFECTLY cooked to over medium--NEVER HAPPENS elsewhere), potatoes and the fruit bowl. YUM YUM YUM The eggs are so fresh that it almost makes you wonder if they have their own laying hens.
I also had the chai tea latte. If that's the only thing I had had, I would have given this place a 5 star review. How can your tea not taste perfect in such large, lovely china cups.
Our waitress was attentive without being smothering. The small kitchen makes each order as it is ordered, making it exactly unique and delightful.
If you want a sweet experience, this is a FANTASTIC place. Just remember, it is a cafe with a small kitchen. Give them time to love on you with delicious food.
We are going to have to come back for lunch sometimes. The waitress said during lunchtime it is very busy and sometimes hard to find a parking place. So, we will be prepared to wait. It seems it will be worth it.

Read moreWe found this wonderful place because we had become obsessed with the egg salad that Heirloom sells at the Tomball Farmers Market. We don't go north on 2920 much and had never noticed it.) When the young man registered our disappointment that they were sold out of the egg salad at the market one Saturday, he said, "they have it at our cafe; you could pick some up there". What!!!??? We went immediately and, like the other reviewers, couldn't believe the gentle and sweet ambiance, the welcoming staff and most importantly, the FOOD. Both chicken salads are out of this world, although I have a slight preference for the one with artichokes. YUM! The lunch option with salad, a scoop or sandwich, and soup is a terrific value. Look how big and pretty that salad is! I can never eat all of my lunch which makes my husband happy because I break it out for appetizers before dinner that night. I keep getting the soup/scoop/salad thing because it's so good, but I ventured out when we went on a Saturday for brunch and got what's basically Eggs Benedict on a jalapeno-cheese waffle. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! It came with fruit, and once again, I couldn't eat it all. Other people in our party got breakfast tacos and raved, and one of us got the pan-fried chicken cutlet and also raved. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The only thing I would ask other diners to consider is that one shouldn't go there in a big hurry. It's not fast food. It is made by hand with love and that doesn't happen in 3-4 minutes like a...
Read moreI recently visited Heirloom Cafe & Market and had a very disappointing customer service experience. Here are the details: I stood at the counter for a significant amount of time, approximately 5 minutes, before anyone acknowledged my presence or greeted me. This lack of attention made me feel undervalued as a customer. To my surprise, when I ordered tacos, I noticed that they tried to overcharge me. The prices for the tacos were clearly listed on their menu, and yet they attempted to charge me more. When I pointed out the price difference, instead of apologizing or rectifying the situation, they simply turned me away. What's even more frustrating is that they claimed their payment machine was down and insisted on cash payment only. This left me feeling inconvenienced and unable to make a purchase unless I had cash on hand. It seems they were unprepared to handle such situations and lacked an alternative payment solution. Overall, I found the customer service at Heirloom Cafe & Market to be severely lacking. The lack of attention, attempted overcharging, and inability to provide an alternative payment method left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated with my experience. I hope that the management of Heirloom Cafe & Market takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues to improve their customer service. It is essential for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure a positive experience for...
