False, đ€Ź
liars, đ€„
unprepared,
arrogant,
without respect,
they try to invent excuses,
they climb straws,
these people are dangerous people for the
American health system,
I have never received such bad discrimination
in my entire life living in the United States.
About a year and a half ago I was diagnosed
with a lump in my throat,
I had regular blood tests and they were stable,
but for 6 months some levels have been out of
normal,
so my family doctor sent me for a visit to this
cancer institute,
25 days have passed from the day I called to
the day of the visit,
they contacted me 5 times they Checked
everything,
called my doctor and had previous tests.
Today, the day of the exam,
they made me wait 2 hours longer than my
appointment time,
and when I went inside the Doctor didn't have
all the blood tests,
I had to go by car to take the tests and go back
to the office.
After I showed him that there were indeed
values Above the norm,
to this doctor named :
(Reza Mostofi,
who is an oncological doctor,
I asked him if he would order me tests :
(tumor markers)
so as to exclude tumors,
he replied NO,
and I explained to him that a throat specialist
doctor was already keeping me under control
for the lump I had,
and Mostofi,
he had received these tests so I was telling him
the Truth.
To make this visit I took a half day off work 5
hours time,
and a payment of $529 dollars.
All this for nothing,
on my way out I spoke to the manager
(Michelle Abell Jacob
LA which climbs on straws finding absurd
excuses because the doctor hadn't ordered
me simple rotin tests,
which are called tumor markers.
when you pay a visit like this in a specialized
hospital like this for tumors,
and baseline tests that make you do these
types of tests,
(to rule out cancer.
avoid city of hope absolutely,
don't believe the Advertising that they do on
The rumors they make are false,
you're just wasting your time.
I hope this review helps other people not
waste their precious time with this institution,
even considering that we don't know how
much time A person has...
Read moreMy insurance faxed City of Hope on 7/21/22 with a time sensitive hernia surgery appointment request. My insurance provider informed me that they would call to set up an appointment. About 2 weeks later, after no call, I decide to call them and set one up. They somehow lost all the info my insurance company gave them. After getting that sorted out, we finally got an appointment scheduled for 8/17/22. They wait until the day before to call me and tell me that this doctor only takes patients if the claim involves cancer that was brought on by industrial exposure. Why something so weirdly specific wasn't brought up weeks ago is really just not believable. When I called and asked why they waited until the day before, I was told that they were behind because they had 'more important cases, like dialysis' that they had to...
Read moreMy family has been coming here biweekly since February when one of us was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The first day we arrived we were immediately welcomed and cared for. Dr Liu, Dr Cullinae, and Dr Sokolov have taken amazing care of not only the patient, but all of us. Not once have we felt uninformed of what was going on and we've made amazing progress in fighting a cancer with a very low survival rate. Everyone here has made us feel like family. From the girls at the front desks, to the techs and nurses as well as the doctors, we are greeted with smiles and hugs and so much love every time. We got so lucky that this branch opened when it did, so close to us. I can only imagine how things would be going if we had picked some other cancer treatment center. I've never been so grateful for such an amazing...
