ER - saved my life and were kind and caring while they did it. I'm in the medical field, practiced in hospitals - so I'm coming from that viewpoint (altho I didn't tell them my profession).
After 3 days was stabilized transferred to TCC for a longer haul. So impressed by the care I received! Dr. Samina Khani was absolutely terrific. The nursing staff on units I and IV were so competent and responsive. Phys Therapy and OT taught me to walk again. They were so excellent at their jobs!!
In 2018 I ended up in ER in tremendous abdominal pain. ER and waiting room full to the gills. I had to wait, but was aware they were keeping an eye on me. Diagnostic process took 6 hours where I had every possible scan and -x-ray. I remember the smile on the resident's face when he came in to tell me they were certain I didn't have cancer. Ended up having a Radical Hysterectomy, removing an ovary the size of a large cantaloupe. Hospital staff took wonderful care of me
Did I mention that when a baby is born - a lullaby is played throughout the hospital?
These are dedicated professionals at all levels - and they are patient and kind.

My first granddaughter was born at this hospital but upon finding out that she had very elevated levels of bilirubin (and hence jaundice) we couldn't bring her home. My daughter was released from the hospital but the little one had to stay. She was placed in the NICU in an incubator with lamps to help her system get rid of it. It was so sad to see my little granddaughter hooked up to ivs with a cap covering her eyes. Because of covid, Only my daughter & her husband were allowed in to see her hold her, breastfed her. The common recurring thread during our experience with this hospital was that the level of care & profesionalism was excellent AND every single person who worked there and we had contact with was extremely kind, patient & polite. Beginning with the OB GYN Dr Lapeles who delivered the baby to the nurses in the labor/delivery ward, nurses in the NICU wing, the people who worked in the cafeteria, every single one of them was outstanding. For that, I'll always be ever so grateful to Providence Little Company Of Mary. Thank you from the bottom...
Read moreThe best people work here. My 86 yr old father stayed for a month after being bed-bound for months and after a lumbar laminectomy. Adam, PT and Danisha, OT, worked with my reluctant dad every day, and by the end of the month, got him doing things that amazed me. All the PTs and OTs here are superheroes. Itoko, RN and Sun, (sp?) the wound care RN, were always so calm and helpful. I was always happy to see them when I visited. Keyia, NA, not only works hard, but radiates cheer and sunshine while she does it. My dad made a point to tell me over and over how good she is at her work, and having forever been a work-driven guy, he can spot a good one. She knew he put 2 sugars and 1 cream w his coffee, which isn’t really her job, but it’s that kind of attention to detail that makes a patient feel understood and cared for. The team got him to be so much stronger and healthier (and happier) than how he arrived, I would recommend Providence TCC to my...
