I do not have enough kind words or enough praise for the wonderful women of SpaBlu and its owner Angela. I almost did not want to write this review because I do not want to share this serene and exquisite gem. It is truly a hideaway where you will feel pampered and relaxed. I have never felt more like royalty in my life than I did the moments I spent inside SpaBlu. I had researched a lot of places to find a good spa that would also be a good getaway to spend the day with my sister for her 18th birthday. I stumbled upon SpaBlu and it left me speechless. Angela was a sweetheart in helping me plan the treatments to make my sister's day special, and Vicki, Wendy, and Donna were just angels with magical hands. From the second we entered the spa, Angela led us to the beautiful and comfortable lounge chairs where she provided us with breakfast, tea, and even mimosas. Then after my detox wrap by Wendy, which was so soothing, and my sister's facial by Vicki, we came out of our treatments to find a mountain of pastries. Angela was also kind enough to order us lunch which we had after our amazing massages by Donna, who is a total sweetheart. From start to finish, we were treated like absolute royalty. I have been to a lot of spas in NJ and Manhattan, having lived in Manhattan, and within minutes of being in SpaBlue, I could easily say it was the best spa I have ever been to. While it may not have jacuzzis and saunas, you truly get an experience you will never forget. Thank you Angela, Vicki, Donna, and Wendy for giving us such...
Read moreWent for a massage using a Groupon to try Spa Blu. Very relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. Overall massage was enough that I felt my muscle got worked but also wasn’t too sore when I left. So yes it was a nice massage, but some small attentions to details (listed below) made it short of five stars for me.
Massage room was very tiny. Not a problem when I had my eyes closed but I felt a little claustrophobic before and after. No place to put my jacket, shoes, and clothes once folded besides a small chair in the corner Towel used on the face cradle was VERY rough, so much I felt like I had a face exfoliation with my massage. Bed was not heated so it was cold to get into the bed. Not a great start to feeling relaxed. Bolster was extremely cold and put in direct contact with clients instead of between the massage table and the sheet.
Note that my masseuse was male, which was not a problem for me, but at other spas it has always been asked if I had a...

There was a stain on my robe and the walls were so thin that I could hear the women a room over cackling on their lunch break. Turning the spa music up was ineffective and made it difficult to fully relax. When I asked the esthetician for firmer pressure during the neck massage portion of my facial, I did not feel a difference. My expectations of the extractions were not met as I still had visible blackheads that I had to extract myself when I got home. The facial was not a total let down though, as my skin did look glowy and felt smooth overall. I personally would not go back and most definitely wouldn’t pay $125 for that quality. Even with the ClassPass discount.. $75 is...
