Brooklyn Bagels — Restaurant in Totowa

Heard about how disgusting and horrible this place was and its employees, but I never go by what others say till I try the establishment. Well the interior “looks” clean but the floor is stickier than a movie theater. It smells like everything they cook is either burnt or rotten. I ordered a plain bagel with well done pork roll egg whites and cheese. I was told “ no Guarantee it will be egg whites cause if they don’t wanna separate the egg you get what we serve. “ I said “ well your job is to make the order to my specifications, so do your job and tell the cook how I want the order “ she walked away in a huff came back and said is that all ? I said “ I need a buttered everything bagel “ she then proceeds to tell me the price. I want it understood that I have no problem paying any price for good food or good service , this place is neither. Then was told the owner is a very unsavory person. I was told the order costs $21.87 , paid with a 20 dollar bill and a 10 dollar bill. The women said “ you don’t have 2 dollars ? “ I said “ no” she rolled her eyes and slammed my change on the counter.

So if you want a bagel you’re better off getting one from Dunkin’ Donuts than this place. I don’t not recommend this...

There was an older latina woman there who had taken perfect orders everytime. Miss her, never see her anymore! What happened?

I went this morning to order my usual breakfast and some some Santa Clause Hill Billy walks in and yells his order out of turn and immediately gets served, meanwhile I was next, a regular for over 10 years.

The short latino, who often takes orders now, saw no problem skipping patiently waiting customers and didnt even acknowledge the person in front of the register next in line. The sad part is he is known for giving bad attitudes and poor customer service on the regular.

Not a good way to start your 'Good Friday.'

I'd give 1 star but the food is usually decent. The disrespect was on a whole new level. The service is usually subpar, and they offer nothing out of the ordinary. I personally went for their great service and appreciation of local regulars, that's obviously changed...

This place will no longer receive my business due to their rude staff. I ordered from here at grubhub this morning for pickup and went to get my order. When I arrived, there were two entry ways, being my first time there I was not sure where the line started. I noticed someone else walking in the other door so I went to the other side where the line actually started and told the guy I was there before him. The lady behind the counter greets the guy behind me and ask him what he is picking up. I immediately respond that I was ahead of him and tell her my name. She looks at me in the eye and responds with an attitude saying it is not there before looking. I tell her it is a grubhub order so she looks again and hands my my order then says she will not serve me next time. I am perfectly fine with that because I am not going back to be mistreated by her or...
