We bought an engagement ring from an estate jeweler that I loved, but had issues with the construction of the ring. The diamond kept coming loose. Turns out I had a ring made from 2 parts of two rings and the setting was the wrong shape for my stone. I went to Scherer's for help after talking to friends about where they go. I spoke with Erin and she was great - answered all my questions and I was offered 2 plans to fix the ring. I decided to get the ring remade exactly as it was - and I am SO HAPPY I did. Its perfect. It's even better than it was before! I was so happy with the quality and more so the patience with the help in deciding what to do. Jewelry is pricy, yet I feel I got a fair price, especially for the great ring I got back. I would recommend anyone who is looking for new jewelry to check this place out, good selection. I had an incredible experience at Scherer’s Jeweler. After being told by another jeweler that my necklace was just 'scrap metal' and they attempted to purchase it from me, I decided to give Scherers a call. From the very first conversation, the staff was warm and welcoming. I explained what had happened, and the woman on the phone assured me that she thought it could be fixed.

When I arrived at the store, I was greeted by a gentleman who took a look at the necklace. He mentioned that it was a little tricky but didn't think it would be too big of a job for them. I left the necklace there, and within a few days, I received a call that it was ready for pick-up. When I returned, the same gentleman who assisted me was there. He pulled the necklace from the bag, and I was thrilled with the results! It was absolutely perfect! The customer service was top tier, and I highly recommend...

Chris was a very shady salesman. I called him the day prior letting him know what chain I wanted and told him I would be coming in the next day. I visited the store today, and when we were looking through the catalog I noticed prices for the exact chain I was interested in were covered up with a sticky note displaying a personal price made up by our very own, Chris. The worst part is that the price on the sticky note was DOUBLE the amount listed underneath in the actual catalog. When confronting him about this, he was befuddled and had no valid explanation. Instead, he tried telling me that out of the entire catalog only the specific chain I wanted was a typo and somehow was the wrong price.
