Shoe Dept. — Local services in Town of Bridgeport

My wife and I just visited to find shoes for my young son who has wide feet. My wife went up front to ask what shoe brands run wider for his feet, all we were told was "we don't have many wides." Not a single shoe size tool in sight either. As we looked through shoes My son found a shoe he liked and another we wanted him to try but there was only one shoe of each, after having to ask where the other shoe was the employee revealed they keep the mate in the back and to let them know when we are done so they can return it. After we decided on our choice we brought it in it's box up front and the other shoe to the front as the employee requested. The employee took the shoe and walked away as the other employee stood around and ignored us as we waited to check out. My wife asked where the other employee had gone and the gal standing there ignoring us replied "getting the shoe you wanted." And walked away.

Had to track down the one worker. When we were in the back looking for sandals for granddaughter, the clerk stood up behind register went up front stood there asked questions I had. She gave off the feeling that if she waited awhile, I'd walk away. Wrong. So, I stood there til she asked if she could help. I then asked my questions. She responded , then walked back to my daughter and told her the answers. Went to check out, and as we were heading for checkout, the clerk went to back of store to price mark boxes. I had bought a pair of shoes here and had to return them because they wouldn't fit. I was waiting at the counter for well over 20 minutes and no employee to be found wasnt even greeted.
