My daughter just turned 14 and shes been wanting a nose piercing for so long. She said her friend can do it for free but I was completely against the idea of another 13 year old piercing my daughters nose. I told her that I would perfer if shes going to get one done she should have it done by a perfessional. Cliffs tattoo has been a long standing recommended place to go by all my friends and family if I ever wanted to get anything done as far as tattoos and piercings. You can easily get a consent form off of cliffs tattoos social media platforms. For her birthday I surprised her with the notarized consent form and told her we can get her piercing done. The atmosphere is very welcoming and after a few forms on the tablet was filled out my daughter picked the stud she wanted and we went to work. My daughters professional peircer was chris, he was very kind, friendly and informative. He made my daughter feel very comfortable and made her feel very at ease. This was extremely important to me. I had asked my daughter if she liked the guy who peirced her nose and she said yes with a smile. The peirceing cost $95 which I thought was kinda pricey but because of the atmosphere, the professionalism, the kindness and the fact that they do not cut corners and everything they use is sterilized, and the happiness of my daughter it was in my opinion worth every penny. I would not want to go anywhere eles. Even though chris had gone over the protocols of taking care of the peirceing he still gave us a pamphlet of instructions on how to care for the piercing and an estimated time frame when to come back for a refitting and to make sure the peirceing is healing correctly. 10 out of 10 I would recommend cliffs tattoo and I will definitely be returning to possibly get peirceings or tattoos for myself. And if my daughter wants to get more peirceings I will be returning and...
Read morei went in one night with my friend to get matching tattoos on our ankles. the artist said he only had time to do one of us that night so i let my friend get hers done and i decided to come back the next day for mine. the artist who did her tattoo that night was john, who was very professional, gentle and thorough. as it was her first tattoo he was good to ease her into the process, he took his time and the end result was more than perfect. my experience the next day was not as much. john wasnt there that day, so instead somebody else did my tattoo. this artist was not thorough with the process whatsoever, did not double check with me the placement of my tattoo before placing the stencil, did not ease me into the process like the artist from the night before. his gun setting was up very high and the pain was almost unbearable. it was my first ever tattoo and he rushed through the process, resulting in lots of blood and the lineart to be completely botched. never once did he check with me to make sure i was okay, he was not gentle, he was not careful. it wasnt until after i went home and took a real good look at it to see that the whole thing was lopsided. the stencil looked great, but his tracing was butchered. the experience was nervewracking, painful, rushed and oh so disappointing. not to mention the fact that i was charged almost DOUBLE the amount for my tattoo than my friend, although we had near identical tattoos. i think the artist’s name was oscar. ive been ripped off , and the experience of my first tattoo was completely screwed, and i now have to go get it fixed or possibly completely covered up. im just so disappointed about the...
Read moreI have gone to Cliff’s for many years and thoroughly enjoyed their business. I have gotten most of my piercings done and every piercer was extremely clean and professional. Last week I went to get a tattoo with them for the first time. I figured as it seemed reputable and I had never had a bad experience that it would be okay. I know now I should have done more research on the particular artist. My friend also accompanied me and this was her very first tattoo. At first the artist that would later preform my friend’s tattoo, seemed super friendly and we were both excited to work with him. Anyways we both decided on a different design, so we got two different artists. Funnily enough though both of our tattoos did not come out clean. Simple line work was “botched” and I personally dislike that word but it seems fitting. My artist was unfriendly and shut down both my ideas (asked about a different ink color) and I obviously understand that he is the “professional” so I went with what he told me. Point being, I did not feel listened to by my artist and a tattoo is something that is quite permanent. Later that day is when I realized that the lines were crooked and the ink looks too deep. A few days later my friend sent me a picture of hers, showing that it was also not completely filled in. These were not elaborate designs. I truly expected more. I will only come here for piercings from now on. I’m not asking for a refund and I most certainly do not trust their artists to fix it. I am simply spreading the word because I trusted their business and I shouldn’t have...
