EyeCare Center of Camden — Local services in Town of Camden

I am seriously considering going to a different optometrist. This last visit on 1/30/2018, made me think differently of what I originally thought was a reputable place. My insurance payed for the visit. But I then get a bill in the mail a month later for $49 from EyeCare Center of Camden. I call EyeCare Center of Camden and the girl I talked to said it was because the insurance would not pay for the full amount billed. Which was a lie. I called my insurance and they told me they did in fact pay the full amount. My insurance then called EyeCare Center of Camden to see what the problem was. I get a call from my insurance today saying that EyeCare Center Of Camden said it was mistake on their part for the bill. Sounds to me like they were trying to rip me off $49. I used to think highly of this place but after this I am considering going to a different optometrist. And apparently I am not the first one with this type of issue. Seems like a practice that they do...

Such a great experience today at the EyeCare Center of Camden. From the pleasant greeting upon arrival to the young man, Zac, who did all of the preliminary testing. Then to Dr. Coleman who gave me the best eye exam I've ever had. She's kind, caring and completely explains everything she finds. From there I sat with Greg to make my new glasses choice. I explained what I would like to have and in minutes he had a selection for me. The first pair I tried on were perfect!! Greg really listened and understood my needs. Then it was on to checkout where I was treated as well as all the other members of the team had treated me. My husband even made an appointment after observing how nice everyone was to me! I am very pleased with the care that I received from "EyeCare Center Of Camden." I was so impressed when I found out that they take my insurance needs. They even went out of their way to listen to my questions, and helped me to be as comfortable as possible while they were in the process of examing my eyes. Now, that is what I call excellent service. You just can't get any better than that! I plan on continuing on going back to " EyeCare Center Of Camden," as they treat their customers very well and with respect that a person deserves. And they really do "care" for their customers, and they won't do you no wrong. When their office treat's your eyes the way they do... honestly, when you are done with your appointment there you will be glad you have gone there to see them. ...
