My review is actually zero stars. I came home and my cat didn’t come when I called him. I went looking and found him limp on the cellar floor by his litterbox, barely breathing. I called the office (supposedly HIS vet) and they said they wouldn’t take him bc they’re not an emergency vet, nor would their other office in Rome. I could try the emergency vet in E Syr. Meanwhile, he’s barely alive in my arms, and I am absolutely hysterical! I told my husband bull, go to his vet, I’ll make them see him. I carried him in, and said they HAD to see him. He had a total urinary blockage and was dying on the table. He had to be put down. The vet was neither compassionate nor kind! I ONLY used this office bc it was close in case of emergency. I would definitely recommend this veterinary service and their staff. I walked in without an appointment but was treated warmly and was seen after a very short wait. The vet was knowledgeable and discussed with me various options for referral and treatment. She answered my questions and concerns about euthanasia which was one of the options. It was heartbreaking but I knew that the time had come as there was no treatment with a satisfactory outcome. She gave me an appointment to come back at the end of schedule so we wouldn't be rushed. They almost killed my dog. I have a Pomeranian who is sensitive to some shots and is known to have reactions so when we asked the vet to give him one each visit instead of all on the same day so we could isolate which one was giving him problems, the vet ignored us and gave all of his shots to him causing him to go into anaphylactic shock a few hours after. When we called to ask what to do the office didn’t answer and my family and I were terrified driving to the animal hospital watching my poor puppy gasping for breath.
