Lived there for two years. Office staff were always helpful. Had an adjacent upstairs apartment pipe burst leak water into our unit. Make sure you have renters insurance! Repair work was shoddy. I had to look at a terrible patch job in the ceiling for a year. Any other small issues were resolved in a timely manner. I had a lower two bedroom with garage. My heating bill was $200-$250 a monthly on the budget with national grid. Not sure how insulated they are. Very cold and snowy area. They allow pets. My first year the upstairs neighbor was quiet. The neighbor that replaced him had a dog and was very loud. You can hear EVERY step they take in the ceiling and every sound the dog made. Very annoying. Snow removal is only done if all cars are pulled out of the drive way. So if you park in driveway say good by to snow removal unless you drive around looking for the guy in the snow blower and ask him to come to your apartment. You are responsible for shoveling the walk way to your door. That’s sometimes over 12 inches of snow at a time. I bought a small snow blower to save my back. No dumpster for use. Just a single green can for each unit. Made it a task to get rid of excessive amounts of garbage sometimes. Especially when moving in/out. You must pay a professional cleaning company to clean carpets upon moving out. $150 service. I got my $500 security deposit back. Overall my experience was “ok”. I don’t think these people are out to take advantage of anyone. I suggest factoring in high utility costs when making your decision. ****UPDATE****** I had stopped back into the office to grab some mail after I had moved out. Jennifer sarcastically “thanked ”me for this review and was visibly annoyed by my presence. I told her my review was an honest assessment of my experience. Keep in mind I still gave 4 stars. I gave these people over $20k of my money. I would like to think that my constructive feedback would be welcomed but I guess not! I think Jennifer needs to take some classes on professionalism. I sure wouldn’t treat my customers that way. I only left a review to help others make an informed decision. For us poor folk housing costs are a significant part of our monthly expenditures.

I would strongly recommend anyone within the military to consider living on base as many others have stated before this review. This place is not worth putting a portion of your BAH towards considering there is no central air conditioning and no washer or dryer included. I again would strongly recommend living any place else that is not affiliated with Sedgwick Pines. They will haggle you for your security deposit and it seems to be a recurring theme when it revolves around their carpeting. For move-out they rip out the carpet in search of stains and this goes for all of their rental properties. They happened to find a small miniscule stain well beneath the flooring that doesn't even physically appear on the carpet and are charging us our entire security deposit of $500 which in my full honesty is a simple $50 fix, in all reality, possibly much less.

We lived in a unit on the first floor that was riddled with ants when we first moved in. We then had an issue with mice and a re-occurring problem with mold and mildew. We have had to contact their maintenance team multiple times to handle these problems and when we requested a copy of our maintenance orders they failed to supply it to us in a timely manner prior to us leaving and have yet to share such copies with us.

Additionally, after we invested in getting the carpet cleaned, upon their requirements, their move-out inspector was disrespectful and walked into the apartment without any form of shoe covering despite being giving explicit verbal permission to do so. They claimed that "they legally couldn't remove their shoes" however, in all other rental properties I have resided all maintenance workers wear some form of shoe covering.

While I personally have not had any issues with anyone in their main office my husband has dealt with serious unprofessional behavior from both office staff and maintenance staff. To further more add onto this review when reaching out to get a better understanding of the move-out process and situation they failed to contact me back after I was told I would be contacted. In addition to all this they accused us of falsifying our service dogs paperwork which in fact does not have to be supplied to anyone and is not required. They additionally requested proof of a disability which is a violation of our renter rights. We have viewed the behavior of this establishment as grotesque and...

Poor at best early 2015. Late 2010 my wife and I moved into one unit down stairs here. Up until and a few months after my deployment 2011-2012 all was good. Little noisy from upstairs neighbor but tolerable. Mid 2012 all that changed with management personal change. By summer 2014 when we retired from the military, we had called the police 6 times about noisy, actually unbearable neighbors up stairs. When we complained to management - the complaint went through both ears as if there was nothing in between. My wife and I are quiet, we offered BBQ meals to the renters upstairs since they could not BBQ. We had 2 well behaved labs, a garden in the back and LOTS of curb appeal. My wife spent her alone time sprucing up the front while I was deployed. Yet, management refused to budge about noise complaints, they also threatened a few times to evict. Yes we were late on rent, cause we have a house where renters stop paying rent. Got us behind. But never did we cross 25 days late. We paid all late fees. When I medically retired from the military, they had the gall to insist we pay 2 YES 2 months rent when we would not even be present in the apartment. They knew I was on a PCS move yet insisted. We cleaned that apartment for 5 days prior to leaving, we even left a few nice items for future resident's. Nothing bad, bathroom shelves and cabinets. In all the apartment was in much better condition than when we moved in. We also had from signing 4 years earlier a credit for last months rent, which was changed to a cleaning credit. Yet the only thing we received from out deposit was a bill for 3000 plus dollars. I never paid this, I had the negative statement removed from my credit profile. Warning!!!!! Ask around - current renters about treatment, care of the premises, and managements follow through with correcting legitament complaints. I gave two stars only because that management may have changed since I left...
