Let’s start by taking about the big elephant in the room. -Marijuana-

I originally started going to rise for recreational products. I fell in love with the great staff, clean facility, and professional milieu. I’ve always come to Rise in times of need. At first, I just thought it was to clear my head, and be surrounded by like-minded people.

Then, I realized that it wasn’t just my head that needed help.

I had been out of work due to back pain and Sciatica. I was on the verge of looking for a new job my because my head and back were so bad.

How was I supposed to be a bedside nurse if I couldn’t think past the pain?

Then I realized that I needed more. More knowledge and better medications. (Maybe a different job too, lol)

This is my hometown Pharmacy when I’m in Syracuse.

From the minute you walk in the door, Lindsey makes you feel at home.

The pharmacist Mike, he was my dude. Super knowledgeable, and very thorough. You can tell he works out, and wants his patients to be the best version of themselves.

Zack can help you with your smoking piece needs. And they have so many cool styles.

And Daniele. She is such a kick-ass person that just keeps the place running smoothly. Super kind, and bubbly.

Rise goes out of their way to make sure I get the medications I need now. Thank god for places like Rise who are peeling away the stigma about the mental and physical health benefits of Marijuana for everyday Joe’s like you and me.

First thing I noticed when arriving is security walking around the parking lot which doesn't make the first impression too inviting. After checking in at the desk I was greeted by an employee who gave a quick briefing on the products. When I went to take a look at the different types of flower on display I realized that the containers were all empty and that the only way to get your product was to use a digital kiosk, so you don't know what you are buying until you've already purchased it. I purchased some of their brand sour diesel which came out to around $46 an eight on sale... Pretty pricey for being on sale and not even being able to smell it first. I paid cash and even left a tip for my "budtender" even though all he did was go to the next room to get it for me. When leaving, my wife grabbed a lighter with the company logo on it as there were cups full of them at each register with no price on them so it appeared that they were free but as we were leaving we were told that they were $2.50. $2.50 for a lighter that advertises their business is a bit steep considering the price of an "on sale" eighth but we payed it for some reason. When it was time to "test" the sour diesel I was met with great disappointment when I realized that the product (their own brand) was not dry which not only negatively affects the taste but means I payed for water weight as well and the potency compared to sour diesel from across the country was a joke. RISE is a cut above your average experience purchasing THC products in CNY. The staff is extremely kind and insightful. We want to single out Tay, Anna, and Chuck today for being extra helpful with my medical order. I really appreciate your insight in helping me deal with my recent spinal injury. The care and understanding the whole staff shows is very important to me. You folks get it.

Being a medical card holder its super important to me to have a knowledgeable staff, good products at very reasonable prices, and a pharmacist on staff to answer all my questions about the products and their effect with other medications I am taking.

For those of you who aren't medical card folks do not be sad! RISE has a whole section for just recreational use that is a cut above.

I like the Dewitt location. They need some more seating for those of us with bad legs and mobility issues, but other than that, the place is perfect!

Seriously, you have a choice on where you go to get these products, and you can't get the medical grade stuff easily in NY but RISE makes it possible in a clean safe environment I feel comfortable going to.
