ALDI — Local services in Town of De Witt

Today at about 11:30 am I approached the checkout counter , no one was that the cash register at this time .Soon after another customer jumped in front of me and a employee met her the cash register. The employee was assisting her then walked away from the cash register. I had then asked the employee was that lane open , the one she walked away from . She rudely said the green light is on , I responded she wasn’t there I wasn’t sure . She then aggressively said I have to help other people, rather just stating she will be with me in a moment. I explained to her that I was just asking because no one there and while doing so she preceded to throw my items in the cart . I then asked her not to do that . I very upset , she was so unprofessional . I did not do anything to warrant that type of treatment. The woman was in blond caucasian in her late 30s or early 40’s .Im not sure what her issue was but I will write the corporate office in hopes no one has to be...

Have had multiple run ins with LaTeia now, yelling instructions at me in line as if I'm stupid/oblivious to what's going on around me (usually while I'm trying to compensate for people who actually ARE oblivious), then she intentionally double charged me with the last item I had on the belt today--a bag of grapes. Different weight each time too, somehow. I didn't notice until I got home, of course. Didn't even occur to me that someone might be that petty until after the fact.

Additionally hate that this store only has one full check out open, typically. Who on earth thought anyone wanted to deal with self checkout when they have a full cart of groceries, especially produce??? Aldi, your prices are NOT low enough to...

I like the "old" style store. Aisles are generally wide enough except when they put some miscellaneous merchandise between the freezers and the pasta etc. The selection seems to be greater than another "new" style store with excessively wide aisles. But I am afraid they are going to ruin this store because they apparently are getting ready to remodel, having dug up the handicap parking spaces alongside the front of the store. Daughter inquired and they will be closing for a while sometime within the next few months. BTW i avoid the new style store unless I only need one or two things and am driving right past it. Otherwise I will go a slightly longer distance sometimes because there is also a Walmart...
