They have alot of different inventory and I would 100% check there if i needed anything. Its worth the Trip either way for anyone who needs anything to do with electronics or who is into tinkering. fixing things .or Just So happens to Be a "Mad Scientist " Bent on world domination! If you are into electronics and live near Central NY (Syracuse area) this place is a must! It's a tinkerer's dream and worth the drive. You will leave with stuff you didn't know you needed! You can easily spend hours just looking around. They have thousands of parts new, old and hard to find. Surplus and used equipment and lots of components, electrical tools, diagnostic tools, shrink wrap in every color and size you can imagine. Too much to list. The employees working there are electronic wizards and will work with you even if you're new to electronic work. I was in a jam for some odd capacitors and they had all of the ones I needed. They answered all my questions and gave me some suggestions for my project. Price was GREAT also! If you are an electronic hobbyist YOU MUST visit Stewart Smith! The place looks a little shady from the road, but it is an excellent electronics store. It's not like a typical store where you can wander around and browse all the shelves, but rather they have a front desk area where you tell the guy what you need and he goes and gets it for you. The person working there is very friendly and extremely helpful. He even gave me some advice on the circuit I was trying to build and drew me a schematic and set me up with the right components that I needed. Everything single thing that I was looking for, they had it, and they had multiple choices. It's like a mom n pop RadioShack...
