Black and Brew Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Town of De Witt

My girlfriend and I went Tuesday for the steak and lobster $20 special. We order 2 blue light bottles at the bar while we waited for the food. 2 blues cost $12.00.( $6 dollars for one beer is ridiculous) after 40 minutes we still didn't have our food! I asked the bartender when it would be coming and she replied rudely " she doesn't know but the cook told you it would be 40 minutes!!) no one told us it would be 40 minutes! They only said it would be awhile! After 1 hour our food finally came! The steak was over cooked and the lobster tasted like it was soaking in water for a long time! They obviously over charge for drinks and then make you wait for food trying to get you to order more over priced drinks! I definitely do NOT recommend eating or drinking there! I've been coming here since it changed hands the last two times. It keeps getting better and better. Megan owns it now and the place doesn't disappoint. The atmosphere is good and the food tremendous. I always enjoy coming here. Never a bad time, fair prices on drinks and food and when you walk in the door you're greeted with a smile.

Back again. These guys are so much fun. Quick stop or extended visit, they accommodate. I had a quick beer this time to show face...

Took hubby for birthday dinner in a blinding snowstorm from Moravia..was worth the white knuckles. Great atmosphere Megan( Red) made us welcome and got our drinks. Hubby had the steak and lobster($20 on Tues nites) awesome! I had the 12 os strip and fries($10). Never had it done so perfect!!( I like well and most char it) pretzel and cheese for dessert..lol and crispy but juicy wings were excellent! We will return its worth...
