Now that i have calmed down I will go through my entire experience with you. I order sides and a cheese pizza at precisely 625 pm from the bible of a menu this place provides. (My father said one thing to me growing up "If you make too many things there isnt one you make right.") I was told "We will have that ready for you in 30 minutes". I think to myself "Fine, I'll give them a little extra time cause i always seem to be waiting there. " So I arrive 35 minutes later and am greeted by the young lady behind the counter who charges me for my food. (A price is rather not disclose for people that may choke to death upon seeing it) Then I am told by then young lady it will be a minute as I am waiting on my fried food. During this time two door dash workers come in to pick up orders... also not done... also only waiting for fried food. As we all waited there was a third door dash worker that came in... 20 minutes after I arrived. As she tried to tell them what she was there for...4 times mind you. The girl behinf the cone decided to tell me that they didn't have one of my sides.... AN HOUR LATER! 20 MINUTES AFTER SHE CHARG3D ME FOR IT!!! She said i could just have am order of boneless wings in stead. Granted I would have to be alive when the actually were done cooking... which at the time seemed like slim odds. And when i asked why it took an hour for her to tell me she said "they just told me" which seems weird considering it is the 4th time she had checked on my order. In the mean time that girl trying to tell them she was there for an order left, another one took 1 of the 2 she was there for because she didn't want to wait anymore and the third was still there. 14 pizzas sat on top of the ovens.... 14 almost all waiting for fried food orders. My last pizzas have been under done btw. But in the endyhe gentleman in charge did give me a credit for my over an hour wait, paying for food they did not have and no one knew they didnt have, and the food i got being cold. Thankyou for that although i will never be ordering for this place ever again. Pizza is constantly under cooked and bland, tankes hours for fried food every single time, and it doesnt seem to get better. Id rather go to dominoes...
Read moreIf I could give this place negative stars I would. My mother ordered a regular cheese pizza, a gluten free pizza with multiple toppings, burger with fries, and fried pickles and buffalo wings. We were told that our order would be delivered in 45 minutes. In our minds we thought okay probably an hour. After calling to check on the order it finally showed up 2 hours later. As you can imagine with how expensive pizza is these days this order after tip was close to 100$ after tip. We get inside and start opening ip boxes and bags and realize that the gluten free pizza wasn’t delivered and after opening the wing box there was literally no sauce on the wings and they were so pale they looked like they were barely cooked(we also asked for extra crispy). We call them back very upset since it’s now past 8pm and family was wanting to eat and go home. My mother asked to speak to a manager. She really just wanted a refund for the pizza and the barely cooked wings and wanted someone to just come back since she paid in cash for her refund. The person on the phone claimed to be the manager, but would take no accountability for their mistake and just said this was not her fault and said they do not do refunds. I just have to say if I was the manager I would be mortified for missing and uncooked items and not matter if she was not the one preparing them it’s her job as a manager to assure her staff is putting out the right foods to be delivered and cooked food as well. She then said that the only think they can do is remake it and deliver it in a half an hour. Which we know what their timing ends up being like. My mom not the family really cared to wait for it at this point since we’ve already waited 2 hours. Our family member that is celiac has a young daughter and needed to get her child home for bed so really she has no use for the pizza being re-delivered. I strongly suggest not to waste your time at this establishment no give them your hard earned money. There are plenty of other pizza places in Syracuse that will be far...
Read moreHad a miserable experience at The Pizza Cutters last night. I have been weighing whether or not to leave this review considering they sort of made the situation right. But it was just insane behavior by people representing a business. I ordered the Boom Boom Chicken Pizza with fried chicken and wood fired. They handed me a pizza with grilled chicken and no sauce in it that wasn’t wood fired. The gentleman who I dealt with was very fake nice in a way that’s hard to put a finger on, but the whole interaction gave a vibe that they genuinely despise their customers. I don’t know if it’s because I ordered on Slice? Or because I only tipped $5 (on a carry out order mind you)? Not that those things should matter, but this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had from any business that serves food.
Unfortunately, the food wasn’t even the worst part. There was a black woman doordash driver waiting in the lobby next to me and an employee could be heard in the back yelling “TOO MANY NEGROES”. Just unbelievable and unprofessional behavior, especially in 2024. I can’t say for certain if they gave me a terrible pizza on purpose, but the whole order was really bad (after having an initial positive experience on my previous visit with a delicious Big Mac pizza). I can appreciate that they did eventually make it somewhat right by refunding the amount of the pizza, but experiences like this are how you permanently sour customers on your business. There are plenty of other places to get pizza in this town. I’m sure I can find one where the employees aren’t howling racist obscenities and actually care about the food they’re putting out. I feel bad that the people working last night are so miserable doing what they do. But no one is forcing you to work in food service. Don’t take it out on the people supporting...
