I visited the emergency room with excruciating pain in the lower abdomen legs and back at first they were more than delighted to help me they gave me some pain medicine and and CT scan and tried to make me comfortable I think when they saw it I checked had the situation checked in another establishment with another doctor things turned around a doctor came to the doorway and told me she was waiting for a call from Sayre Hospital and then she let me know what they're going to do after several hours one of the one of the help come and get me some papers and told me to sign it and I was all done and told me to get dressed and get out I want to see another doctor another doctor tomorrow from Sayre as I fought to get off the bed which was still in the air to get my clothes still in pain a man with tears in his eyes struggling to get dressed until untie down from the backside below that pain as I was a while later are you all right back there and I said no not too good as I was fighting to get my sneakers on and get them tied she did help me and started to turn away I told her that I don't think I could walk to the car in my condition she said what would you like me to do and I asked her if I had she had a wheelchair when she did weld me to my car thank you for your...
Read moreWent to primary care for a bug bite that turned into cellulitis, just needed a topical cream script. Sat down with reception and went over ALL of my info from address to my mental health even verified the pharmacy which changed to one 30 miles from the previous. This detail matters. Ultimately the Dr. If you can call her that agreed with my diagnosis of cellulitis. Thank you google and asked if I wanted the script for the topical cream. They sent it to the wrong pharmacy on a Friday night. Primary care wasn't open on the next day to fix the mess up they made so I never got the script. The rash healed with some neosporin and time so after 2 days I didn't need it anymore. Was still billed for services that were not rendered and disputing the bill just got me more in the weeds with the miscommunication with hospital staff and misdirection on how it was being handled. If you need a ER OR Primary care steer clear of schuyler hospital. I WAS BORN IN THAT HOSPITAL AND HAVE SEEN IT TAILSPIN INTO A MESS...
Read moreI’m giving a 2* on behalf of my 50 year old Mother’s recent visit to the hospital on 1/26/24. She went because she fractured her tailbone. She stated that a “pretty and skinny nurse with brown hair” of Dorothy Elizabeth’s or a nurse in question, had dismissed my mom being in pain. Calling my mother a “BABY” before shortly leaving the room and my mother waiting for Dorothy (the doctor). Nobody should treat patients this way. My mom ended up not telling the doctor mainly feeling shocked in disbelief of it coming from the nurse and shut down emotionally, avoiding talking about it until coming home and telling me, her 30 year old daughter about it. This isn’t directed towards the doctor. Just the nurse who lead her to a room and completely dismissed her feelings of pain and called her a “baby”. How unprofessional and unsympathetic. She unfortunately doesn’t know the nurse in question. Just a brief description of her appearance...
