I was suppose to receive a package Friday. Left specific instructions upon delivery to ring doorbell to sing for package. I also notified my neighbor if I am not home for the delivery to have them get it for me and sign. Which also states per FedEx when you call them in automated message. Wasn’t home and neighbor tried to receive package for me. Driver declined and left. Didn’t leave no door tags either. I called and complained and all I got was nothing but excuses and catching customer service in lies and contradicting themselves. Then being told they the submitted a compliant and that it will be delivered on SAT. After all the BS I said OK I will be home all day SAT to wait. SAT comes and I check my email in the afternoon. Email saying they tried to deliver my package and took a photo of a door tag that was blurry AF and left. Says it won’t be delivered now until Monday. Called and complained and was told that I should be expecting a email and text for when driver will be delivering it tonight. The end of day is 8pm. Well hour later I received nothing. Yet again called and complained and request to speak to a manage numerous of times and all I get is excuse how they can’t get one. That my package now will be delivered tomorrow on Sunday. When I’ve been waiting all day on SAT for delivery. I check my doors and there was no door tag. Called again and complained. Got nothing but excuse when now this is the 2nd time the driver messed up and I’m held accountable for it. Not to mention the photo of the door tag didn’t even show my residence it was so close and didn’t even ring my doorbell when he was supposedly there. So now I have to wait for another day and take the time out of my schedule because FedEx can’t do their jobs correctly. This is such a poor company to have deliveries run to you.
I used to work as a driver for them when I was younger and never once did I ever do anything like that. My customers always received their packages on time and in a correct way and doortag. Drivers can say they put one up take a photo but in reality they didn’t. I know how this company is from experience and which is why I left them and...
Read moreThis company is horrible. I had a delivery set for sunday. Driver walked to my front door. They decided instead of dropping off a no signature need package that they were going to take it back to the warehouse and try again. There was NO door tag telling me this. I had to call the company. On Sunday they said it would be delivered on Monday. I called twice on Monday. In the morning I was told it was on the truck and should arrive early afternoon. At 4pm I called and they said something about address problem but that driver never even tried to drop off the package. I was told it would be on the truck for tuesday. I called tuesday morning. They told me it was on the truck and set for delivery. Called after I saw a fedex truck deliver a couple doors down and then watches the van driver by my house while the driver was eating soup while driving. I called again and they said package was on truck and they don't know why the driver didn't stop. They said they would look into and the call back. Waited for over 2hrs and called back. I was then informed that the package had never been on either the Monday or Tuesday truck that it had just arrived at warehouse from it's delivery on Sunday. I have been told that they have NO clue when it will go back out for delivery. I am extremely upset and will never do personal businesa with fedex and will try to order online items that use any...
Read moreThis is a location that needs to immediately fire all of their staff and rehire before lawsuits start rolling in. They have falsified tracking information, lied to customers about their package status to their faces, the staff are miserable and soulless people that would rather insult customers than help them, and their ability to maintain FedEx logistics is absolutely dismal, with packages being up to 30 days late because of poor management.
Stop telling customers you're attempting delivery on packages to people that are home 24/7 and have never had their doorbell ring. Stop allowing your drivers to put pictures of them covering the camera with a sheet of paper on the attempted delivery notices and not leave a door tag. Stop telling customers their package is on the way when it is lost and you have no idea where it is. Stop calling customers "stubborn" behind their backs when demanding to know where their 10-days-late package is. Close the shop and get new staff.
The staff currently here are not suited for their respective jobs, and need to be replaced as soon as possible if FedEx wants even the slightest chance to retain their reputation in the Capital region of New York and Rensselaer area.
Me, my business, and everyone I know are going to be reassured that UPS is the way to go...
