Today I visited Mr. Halal in East Greenbush, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken Over Rice Platter – perfectly seasoned and satisfying. I also tried some of their desserts, and they were just as amazing.
They’re currently running a BOGO (Buy One Get One) offer until the end of September as part of their grand opening – definitely worth taking advantage of!
The menu is fantastic, with a wide variety including gyros, falafel, sandwiches, and burgers. Everything looked fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great halal food in the area.

We ordered take away. Coming from NYC, this halal does bring back the taste. The chicken over rice was really good but we found a plastic on 1 of them. We ordered 4, everyone ate whole thing except 1 which had plastic and we didn’t feel hygienic. So had to trash that. Hopefully they will be more careful and hygienic as I love this place is near us. Well, baklavas were also good. We did enjoy. Didnt want to give 1 star just because of this but obviously not 5...

Really nice to see another halal spot popping up. My first time at Mr Halal and it did not disappoint. I has the smashed burger with pineapple and it’s delicious! Large pineapple chunk with double patties plus fries filled me up.
The crispy chicken burger was not great since it was a bit soggy and I expected more crisp and crunch. The meat inside was soft though and the flavor was there.
