Kate is an outstanding cooking instructor! Over several months, she collaborated with me to organize a private cooking class for a friend's bachelorette party. I expressed interest in a Japanese-themed class, and she eagerly embraced the idea, being experienced in Japanese cuisine. Throughout the planning process, Kate was incredibly flexible and accommodating to all my specific requests.

Given that the event took place in an AirBnB with an uncertain kitchen set-up, Kate thoughtfully brought everything we needed—from ingredients to cookware and even knives and cutting boards. While the rest of us enjoyed card games, she set up the kitchen area seamlessly. Kate arrived at 5:30pm and she graciously stayed with us until nearly 10:30pm. After the class, she shared the recipes she had developed for our session.

Kate was not just a wonderful instructor but also a delightful person to spend time with. She managed to teach our group of 5 a tremendous amount about Japanese cooking, making the entire experience educational and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly...

First and foremost, Kate is FANTASTIC!

She planned a birthday cooking party for our 5 year old daughter. Guests were other 5 year olds from her class. Kate found a space with a large kitchen and seating area for the kids and their adults.

She prepped chicken kebabs and dipping sauce beforehand and then had the kids make fruit kebabs and roll the dough for their pita breads with real wooden rolling pins. They loved it and the food was delicious!

During all of this she managed 11 five year olds with energy, patience and good humor. All the parents had to do was eat the delicious food prepared by the kids and Kate. It was great not having the usual pizza for a birthday party and the kids ate up all the chicken and pitas.

We had our daughter's 11th birthday party at our house and Kate made the night a tremendous success! My daughter loves pasta, so Kate suggested she and the girls make homemade pasta with pesto! The pasta and sauces(yes, she made a simple brown butter and sage for any picky eaters) were delicious! It was a hands on experience where every girl was doing part of the pasta making and sauce creating! She has a fantastic way with kids where each person is engaged and active during the evening.
