I visited this newly opened ShopRite yesterday and found it to be a very clean and organized place, which is expected from a brand new establishment. It had everything I was looking for and will undoubtedly be a helpful resource for locals and visitors who frequent the nearby Sam's Club. However, my experience was slightly marred by a negative incident that I would like to share as feedback, so the outlet can rectify these minor issues and further satisfy their customers.
While looking for pasta, I found it in the section with promotional deals, and the sign next to it indicated a great offer of 2 for $3. I took advantage of the deal and picked up two packages. However, at the checkout counter, I was charged $2.19 each, which surprised me. I asked the cashier why this was the case, but she brushed me off, saying that I should go to the customer service section with my concern. I believe that all the counters are meant for customer service, but I understood her point. Since I was in a hurry, I initially thought of leaving without going to customer service, but eventually, I decided to do so.
However, only one of the two customer service lines was open, despite two employees being present, causing a delay. After some waiting, I explained the situation to the employee at the counter and showed him the shelf and sign that read "2 for $3." We then realized that the sign was intended for broth, not pasta, which was a mistake on the part of the employee who placed it. Unfortunately, this error caused me to waste nearly an hour of my time.
There were a few things that could have been handled differently. Firstly, the cashier could have addressed my concern on the spot instead of directing me to customer service. Secondly, the customer service employee did not need to accompany me back to the same section; instead, he could have called an employee to check the sign. Lastly, the staff should have apologized for the inconvenience caused, rather than making it seem like I had made a mistake. Moreover, the customer who was behind me in line had to wait until we returned from checking the shelf. Thus, this small error on their part could have created two unhappy customers within their first week of operation.
I hope that management takes these concerns seriously and advises their employees to be more attentive to these...

Came here this morning and noticed the aisles looked different, the entire bottom shelf was emptied out and I thought to myself “oh no that must be a mice problem”.. I continued to walk and at the end of the aisle I look down and see mice traps everywhere on the floor under the shelves, even saw a dead MOUSE next to the trap & eaten peanuts everywhere!!! This was not even hidden from customers, its in plain sight !! If this is how the front of the store is, I cant imagine how dirty it is in the back ! This is absolutely disgusting and a health hazard. They should be closed to the public and fixing the issue! Pure greed ! Will never return!
When they first opened it was nice and now its horrible!!! The lot is always packed, same type of customers thats in the other locations, rude and nasty.. and now its FILTHY! Ive heard of the scarsdale location also having rats running the store. Shop rite needs...
Read moreWhere can I even start with this place? Have u guys ever been to a store and immediately dread the feeling? It’s usually because of those depressing, cold toned lights that they use with eerie music playing in the background. This shop rite is the complete opposite. It’s warm toned and super good vibes. Very modern and sleek design that makes the place look very well put together. Never a shortage of cashiers but that could be because the place is brand new. There’s several working self checkout machines and the lines for those are never crowded. I can find most things I need from here that I wouldn’t be able to find in other shop rites. I luv the vibes here
