I have gotten my both of my prom dress from Azaleas this year and last. Each time I had a great experience and the two girls working and the owner are so helpful and kind. They let you know how great each dress looks on you and give you confidence. They also help clip dresses if needed or help you put it on properly. The staff do a great job at managing the dressing rooms so there isn’t too much of a wait whilst you also don’t feel rushed! They really love their job! Azaleas has beautiful dresses and they’re all in style! Most of my friends have gotten their dresses from Azaleas too. The store is beautiful and clean. Unlike other local prom stores, looking through the dresses on the rack is easy. They are spread out throughout the store, aren’t crammed, and are not in annoying plastic bags Yay! They order the dress in the color you want and size you. Sometimes your dress takes longer to come in some come in a matter of weeks whilst others maybe a few months! I recommend to start prom dress shopping earlier for this reason. It is so worth it though! They call you when your dress is ready to pick up. They have some beautiful jewelry for sale too. They also put down your name and school so they won’t sell the same dress to other girls at your school, not even in a different color which i thought was great! I went to every bridal shop in the capital region and could not for the life of me find the right dress! So many places I went to were crowded, not much room to try on, and made me feel like a number. Some immediately tried to get me to buy the dress with slimy schemes like promising a discount BUT I could only have it if I bought the dress the same day. When I went to Azaleas, Tara was so warm and friendly and there was so much room for me to try on my dress. It took awhile for me to decide for sure and Tara was so understanding and didn’t pressure me at all, I felt free to make my decision. She even let me try on the dress 3 times before I finally put a deposit down! In addition to the spacious store and her wonderful personality, when I tried on her dresses I could tell they were made of quality. So many dresses I tried on were itchy and felt like I was wearing a costume instead of a luxurious ballgown. I was so comfortable in my dress on my wedding day and despite wearing a ballgown in summer, the fabric was so breathable I didn’t get hot at all like I was afraid I would. It was such a personalized experience, we had the whole boutique to ourselves, and Tara was so kind and helpful from the very start. She made everything so easy and enjoyable! The setup was absolutely beautiful, with comfy couches and chairs for my guests, a wall of mirrors, and huge front windows that let you see how the dresses look in natural light. It felt like something out of a movie. The shop was spacious and not crowded at all so you could walk through the dresses comfortably, a huge plus in my book. I was honestly shocked to find such a perfect experience here in the Capital Region.

Tara made me feel so special and brought such a calming energy to what can be a nerve-wracking process. I didn’t expect to find my dress on the first day, let alone at the first boutique or with the very first dress I tried on, but here we are, and I couldn’t be happier!
