Came in tonight for some Mexican with the fiancee. We frequent the other Casa Real location on Altamont Ave, so we hoped this would have been a similar experience. The service was incredible. Our server welcomed us immediately, and promptly took our orders. We started out with the queso. The queso was essentially melted American cheese, and yet it's amazingly addictive. My drink came next, the "monster margarita." I had high hopes for this beverage. Our server described, with hands, that it was "about this big," measuring nearly a foot. The description plus the price ($15) immediately made me very thirsty. However, it was made with a monsterous amount of margarita mix and an undetectable amount of tequila. Do not get the monster margarita from this location. For the price, it is a colossal waste of money. Next came the super chimichanga. The sizes were inconsistent. The chicken chimichanga was larger than the beef, which was larger than the shrimp one. All three were doused in queso. They were very tasty, but I was still irritated about the margarita, so that took away from the experience of the entrees. In short, if you want a good time here, order food that comes with queso and avoid the monster lie of a margarita.

So group of coworkers went to this place for dinner and food wasn’t great need it more flavor. Also the drinks have too much syrup and you can’t hardly taste the alcohol. We order 2 pitchers of margaritas, one was passion fruit that didn’t taste like passion fruit and the other one was mango flavor but we returned multiple times back because it was too sweet and watery ; at the end we just got regular margarita since waitresses were getting irritated because we kept sending back since it didn’t taste good at all! The only thing was good it was the fried ice cream and the churros.

Service was good but my family and I ordered Flautas and they were ass. Completely drenched in this nasty, wet, liquidy cheese and came with no toppings. I expected there to be lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, etc. Very disappointed and lost my appetite. I gave it two stars because I also ordered Fajitas and those were pretty good, but other than that everything else was mid. Don’t highly recommend. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tonight was our first time here. The reviews sounded promising and good. Experience ehhh not so much. The inside of the restaurant was nice. Our waitress ehh maybe she was burnt out tonight. We told her it was our first time I asked some things on the menu she sighed a few times so I just ended up picking out the burrito real with beef. My kiddo pepperoni pizza and my husband got a steak Hawaiian chalupa and asked for NO CHEESE the waitress said "k" food came out the burrito wasn't what I expected, had no seasoning flavor, rice tasted bland, the beef tasted like the ground beef from a food pantry or baby food texture. My husband's meal had cheese all over the chalupa. My kids meal can't mess that up. Over priced for some low quality food. Taco bell tastes better.... Our waitress took a very very very long time to come back to our table so we would know where to pay since when we asked where do you pay when she handed us the bill she mumbled the answer and with the music we couldn't hear her. We will not be giving this place a second chance. Such a let down the reviews and family and friends like it here maybe we got lucky and had an off day but still no thank...

This gem is right in our backyard and we finally paid them a vist. Well, after three visits now, we're hooked. The food is not only delicious but the ingredients are very high quality and served hot, tasty, and loaded with eye appeal. I've order different entrees each time (large selection on menu) and can't decide on a favorite so I'll probably just keep varying things up a bit. The service was great, nice atmosphere and large portions. If you like Mexican, this is the place for a very enjoyable meal. My wife likes the shrimp Chalupas and they are literally overstuffed with whole shrimp. No pieces, no fillers, just shrimp. Monday was the fajita special day and I had all to do to finish the delicious eye appealing meal. I'd give six...
