Garden Gate Florist — Local services in Town of Halfmoon

Living on the other side of the country, I basically Googled florists in and around the Clifton Park area and found Garden Gate Florists - and thank goodness! The woman I worked with (I don't remember her name) was creative and provided good recommendations for the three centerpieces I needed for my niece's shower. The corsage I wanted for the bride was not something the staff was familiar with (I had seen it worn by a character on Dr. Blake's Murder Mysteries - a 1" wide satin ribbon to which was pinned a rose and then the ribbon was wound around the wrist and tied in a bow next to the flower) but when shown a picture, they produced exactly what I wanted! If I could give this place and service no stars to leave this review I totally would. I place an order through Door Dash for a Mother's Day arrangement that was being delivered today. I made the order last week to make sure I had it ordered and delivered in time. So fast forward to today. My dasher tells me he waiting for the order then it's on the way to the destination, paid for and the digital card was sent to my mother in law. Fast forward 10 whole minuets. I get a call from door dash my order is canceled and I am being refunded. How convent after not having to worry about this task now at the very last minuet I have to very much worry. Been going there 30 year's..for every occasion..mom, wife, wedding.. funerals, ect, last two visits where not nice at all, all these year's everyone was always helpful in every way. Last two visits, small.older blonde with long hair, just down right rude, and nasty..and very unhelpful, also never seen before. Been sending my wife flowers at least 3 to 4 times a years..to the same building she has been in for 38 years. And I a heart beat she snaps "they have never delivered that far" . Hope is goes back to the old way of doing things.. little heartbroken after all the years I have gone there, for this to happen twice...
