Fantastic place for Thai/Chinese food We came in and was greeted by a very nice old lady. She sat us immediately and gave us water, tea, and crackers (all free by the way). When we ordered she gave my fiance a soup on the house. When we left she gave us an extra helping of rice for free too. She was so nice and sweet! Our food came out quickly and tasted awesome. We ordered the dim sum sampler for an appetizer. For the main course we had the crunchy shrimp with curry noodles and a crunchy shrimp and scallops. The shrimp was huge and was super crispy without being greasy. Food wasn't too spicy. Both meals came with a lot. Prices were around average, maybe slight above average for certain dishes, but the taste, volume, and service makes it worth it. The establishment is large with high ceilings with authentic asian decorations. Very nice atmosphere. We came on a Sunday at 3:30 and it was pretty much empty, but we came at an odd time i guess. They do order out I believe. All in all a great place for Asian food. Maybe a tad expensive but worth it for the tasty food, great service, and large servicing sizes.

I enjoyed the food from Tai Pan in Clifton Park NY. Inside the restaurant looks very unique with it's Chinese influence and touch that makes you feel like you're back in China or visiting for the first time. I want to mention first about the inside decor which has decorations around the area and has a distinct value showing Chinese history and connection to the food eaten. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the wonton soup which was delicious for the stomach as an appetizer. The meal I ordered was Indonesian Chicken Rendang was a delicious meal. It reminded me of Haitian joumu joumu soup, expect it came with rice, and went well with it. It was packed with healthy vegetables and is a nice to meal to eat at the end of a long days work.

I often find myself nostalgic for the "sit down" Chinese restaurants of my 1980s childhood; there are so few remaining. The moment I walked in, I was instantly transported back. We were served hot tea and noodles with duck sauce to enjoy while looking at the menu. I chose the General Tso lunch special which comes with soup and rice. The Egg Drop Soup arrived piping hot soon after. I pronounced it absolutely delicious! Next, was the General Tso chicken with white rice. I loved the texture of the chicken - perfectly crispy - but the sauce itself was more sweet than spicy. Overall, a pretty good experience, although I may try a different dish next time around.

Honesty, and I dont want to write bad reviews...but I have to warn people...THIS PLACE IS THE WORST. I love Asian food. All Asian food. Looks like a nice restaurant and the menu is nice....but the food....I swear to you...I have had way better Asian food at an Asian buffet than this place. That's not saying too much for their food because we all know buffets a questionable shot in the dark.. But unlike Thai Pan, at least even a bad buffet has something you can say is good. I've been to so many good and a lot of great Asian restaurants. All over the country, not just local because even though I'm not Asian...its always been my favorite. Trust me on this one, I want to spare you the waste of time and the let down...THE FOOD HERE IS HORRIBLE. This may be the first time I left more than half of my food uneaten ... I DIDNT even want to bring it home. $45 worth and I didn't want it...does that tell you something? Greasy beyond belief (and I like fried food), super salty, and otherwise flavorless are just the tip of the icebirg to describe it quickly.... And we wondered why there were no other people dining besides us...on a Sat night at 6:30pm? Don't get me started on the service....that I can possibly forgive because I'm a nice understanding person...but again...this place is...

I have eaten here many times and I will say while the food is good (when you actually get what you ordered), the woman who runs the show is terribly RUDE and belligerent. I will NEVER eat here again. On multiple occasions I ordered food without certain vegetables that I cannot eat, and inquired if this was possible. She told me yes, of course, was very clear that it could be done...no problem. Then I race over there on my lunch hour, pick up my order, get back to the office only to see it is clearly NOT what I ordered and then I have to dig out a large portion of the food I just paid for and throw it in the trash because I can't eat it and don't have time to get new food. Both times that I called to complain about my order being screwed up, Bonnie has told me it was MY fault, and that I never said I wanted it without those vegetables. In fact, according to her, I said it was perfectly fine specifically to have those vegetables. And when I try to explain myself, she said I'm wrong, I misunderstood, she didn't understand me, I just want a free meal, etc. She refuses to offer any compensation and is extremely argumentative. There are much nicer places you can eat where the staff actually respect their customers and admit when they...
