Avoid this place at all cost! They do not back their merchandise and "Les" is rude and arrogant. I bought a lavender plant that was npt quite two weeks old. I watered it EVERYDAY, TWICE A DAY. I am NOT a novice gardener. My entire yard is plants and trees. NO GRASS. I've spent about $400.00 (have all receipts to prove it) in the past 2 months and all my other plants are thriving(OTHER THAN THE ROSES I BOUGHT THERE THAT CAME HOME WITH ME THAT HAD BLACK SPOT BUT AS I SAID, I'M NO NOVICE SO I WASN'T AFRAID OF IT EVEN THO THEY WERE STILLNSELLING THEM AT FULL PRICE) and not planted yet (had back surgery and help is coming this weekend.) All I wanted was a replacement. No money. ON TOP OF IT, I WAS ABOUT TO SPEND AT LEAST 103.99 (WHAT WAS IN MY BUGGY AS MY HUSBAND WENT TO GET A NEW LAVENDER BUT THEN CAME OUT TO TELL ME ABOUT LES AND HIS BEHAVIOR ISSUES. MY HUSBAND SAID THEY DON'T NEED OUR BUSINESS AND NEED TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS.)
BOTTOM LINE, DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE. YOUR MONEY IS BETTER SPENT AT GARDENVILLE BLOOM. THEY HAVE TOP QUALITY PLANTS AND A LOT.OF UNIQUE STUFF. MUCH BETTER PRICES AND THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!!! ASK FOR BRIAN. HE'S EXCELLENT AND KNOWS HIS PLANTS AND WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT. This Les is just a lazy old man looking to collect a check. This man lost a lot of money over a $10.00 replacement plant. I will be spreading this message via Internet as well as word of mouth TO ANY AND ALL WHO ARE WILL TO LISTEN. I will do everything in my power to get the word out so people don't get ripped off an we can get businesses like gullos to dry up so that the places like Gardenville Bloom keep up with the public needs and care about what people.want and spend their hard earned money on. Not just sitting around waiting.to collect a check. Les needs to be put out to pasture and make room for those who care.about the customer. I really hope his $10.00 was worth all the money he lost out on today. Anyone.wants to see my receipts to prove what I spent at this place, feel free to contact me. I'll be happy to provide them to show just what a fool Les really is. I'm now making it my life's mission to put him in the unemployment line. Forget about threats, old man. Worry about your business now. I've never had to return a plant like this before and I could see it if I were in there trying to do so a lot or even more than one but for you treat us that badly and act so arrogant? No way! I will now commit to make sure people are aware of your rude, arrogant behavior and that as much business is redirected elsewhere, be it family, friend or stranger....
Read moreWent to store to buy patio stones and possibly hire install. I say that way because depending on the design we may have come up with , I wouldnt want to do my self and risk doing a less than perfect job. When i went in store i approached the counter to ask for help on buying patio stones and options, i was directed to another counter and handed a pamphlet. The same information inside the pamphlet was the same info on unilock website that I had already look into but I thumbed through again waiting for someone to come to counter again to help me. I did this for 5 minutes standing at counter, no one approached me since so then left. I went to Lowes, was approched for help, showed a bunch of options and ultimately spent my money there. I gave 2 stars because the girl at 1st counter did try to help me get to right department, but then went to helping other customers. Full disclosure: I do enjoy the selection and have frequented in the past for other gardening needs . I like the layout of the place which is what drew me to have them do my patio, but perhaps Ill just stick to just buying a couple plants here and...
Read moreMy 88 year old mother bought what she thought would be a lovely Japanese maple tree. She paid Gullos to also deliver it and paid to have it planted (by another person). The tree never thrived. It had a problem with the leaves and the branches at the top stopped growing leaves and became bald sticks. We went back to Gullos a few months after purchase and were told to be patient. To give the tree a season - we took the other steps they suggested. No improvement. We went back and were told to clip the top off. We did. No improvement. We went tback to Gullos yet again - my mom at age 89 now…. We were told they would discuss what to do among the owners and would get back to us. We never heard back and they do not return my mother’s calls. She paid around $500 for the struggling tree and. $75 for delivery. She asked for HALF the value of what she paid in the form of a gift card at Gullos but they choose to do nothing at all. So disappointing. She now has to pay to have the dying tree removed from her yard. So...
