Yesterday, my sisters and I decided to start shopping early for our parents. Due to the fact of possible close down and red zone, we were worried what would be open in the future. We were looking for a small jeweler we could support, rather than the corporate jewelers. it was a sigh of relief walking in Katz!!!! It was clean, the workers had masks on, and were eager to help!!! Both the man and woman there, were friendly, and listened to what we were looking for. We walked out with the perfect wrapped gifts, and now have a new jeweler!!! Recently my Bride discovered that her Diamond was missing on her Engagement ring from 50 + years ago. Our big 50th Anniversary is coming up and we needed to get another Diamond and the Wedding rings repaired. Pat the Owner took care of us. Avoid like the plague!!! I took my watch there to have the battery changed, and replace one end of the pin that holds the latch in place. When I returned, he told me he couldn’t find the pin, but he STOLE the rod piece! Now my watch band is completely broken without the piece that he removed, and nobody else has been able to find THAT piece either. I took him a watch that was in perfect working order, it just needed a pin to keep the latch in place, and now I have a watch with a band that is completely useless without the rod piece...
