Saigon Bangkok — Restaurant in Town of Hamburg

" Fraudulent business practices " So .., this place is scamming people out of their money and manipulating their menu prices to unsuspecting customers.... The facts are this my party 3 went for dinner the bill came and what jumped out at me was the 12oz beer bottles were $5.50 which wqs in line with most upscale restaurants.. when the bill came all of the beers we ordered were priced at $7 each .... What ? I brought it to the attention of a younger skinny with long haired woman who said she was in charge , sadly her response was immediately to argumentative and combative and to "promise me that I was mistaken " when I showed her in " back and white ". On the menu, whay the price was 5.50 ! She immediately turned her back on me and started to stock more items at the bar., Our younger server then said he would adust the price for me , as I was walking away I over heard her tell the kid " throw that menu away now !! ". No apologies... just a vey bad experience.., a very nasty rude ignorant young woman who could not care less about the customers... BTW. When I went back to my table and looked at the rest ofvthe items on the bill compared to our menu, I had at the table , I noticed all of the items were higher... to the tune of 28-30 percent higher ... I wasn't ready to be abused any further so I let it slide... never will I enter this establishment again and will tell everyone I know to do the same , unless you want to be ripped off and...

Our server Mon, was amazing. This hardworking woman serves the whole place, even if it is smaller, by herself! And the food was served hot, very prompt and all tasted amazing! We had the veggie crispy spring rolls, and as they're one of my favorite foods I'm confident in saying that theirs are top 5 in the greater 716 area. We also got the spicy coconut soup with mushrooms, 100% on point. Lastly, I was blown away by the chef's special tamarind galangal duck. Went on a limb and tried it- omg its so amazing! The tasty sauce, the wonderful spicy and flavorful profile, and the duck was cooked to perfection. Pair it with the warm sake, and we were so so so happy. Compliments to the kitchen and the staff! What a wonderful perfect meal. The only thing I can say is it gets BUSY- understandably so for such a great place w amazing food! So try to go at a less busy time. This also means it can get loud inside. And probably NOT a great place for babies, young kids, or anyone who gets overestimated easily. (Psst they offer takeout for that too!) Overall, so amazingly happy! One of my favorite places ever, for a date night, girls' lunch, they have a cute patio for better weather- so good for a patio brunch, great for gluten free and or vegan choices also. They have it ALL! We will be back....

Unparalleled customer service, particularly with respect to the male staff. These gentleman understand the mechanisms of social currency, in relation to the customer experience (superlative service) and it's return on investment (loyal customers).

I live in Japan 6 months out of the year (a country where customer service reigns supreme, in every regard) it's unrivaled/unmatched i.e. you won't find that level of service anywhere else in the world; as it has been deeply ingrained within their society. I have never experienced better service than while in Japan (this applies to all sectors: restaurants, financial institutions, retail etc...)

However, this restaurant and the aforesaid male staff, remind me of the service that I always get in Japan... it's THAT good. Really, I'm quite impressed which is why I've taken the time to write this review.
