Ace of Fades Barbershop — Local services in Town of Hempstead

I and my 10 year old son got frustrated with local barbers in my neighborhood. We would show barber after barber photos of low taper fades; the barber would nod their head and agree to making that haircut a reality for my son. I'd tell the barber that I didn't the levels to go too low; the barber would always agree. And then after agreeing to what we'd want, the barber would immediately ignore what was requested, and proceed to cut the hair way too low. I reached a breaking point and decided to search "fades near me" . . . and voila! I saw a barber shop cleverly named Ace of Fades. So I decided to take my son there one early Sunday morning. Ace of Fades is a really nice looking barber shop. I didn't let that affect me, because it seems like ALL barber shops now hire an interior designer or something, and ALL these barber shops look amazing, so I was still nervous about my son walking out of here looking chopped. Thankfully, Chris wasn't going to let that happen. Chris was the first barber to actually listen to what we wanted and proceeded to deliver with amazing results. My son was blessed that day with a fly haircut. The results were so good, that we returned to Ace of Fades yesterday, early Sunday again, and Chris produced another dynamite haircut. Chris listened to what we wanted, wasn't rude, and got himself and Ace of Fades a regular customer. I'm glad my search led me to Ace of Fades, and my son is happy he has Chris as a barber. I’ve been to many barbers and barber shop over the years. I have to to say Ace of Fades is by far the best. All their barbers are great but, when u go there you have to ask for Paul. The guy is skilled at what he does. Paul takes his time with you he does NOT get distracted like most barber in barber shops. His skills with the clippers are on point. He know how to blend your hair/beard to perfection . Many will say they can, but they really can’t Paul can. Any type of hair style your looking for he knows how to do it, and do it properly.
