Paddy Power Pub — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I was there on Sunday night at 6pm for a quick drink (I don't drink but am always a designated driver to my sister and brother) on a Sunday afternoon/early evening and that's really all it's good for at that hour a quick drink. Well actually I lied, that and the bartender Rebecca. She's a cute shorter petite cute girl with some nice tats and cool to talk to and she's real cute. She also gives great advice to people that ask, especially in the love department since she's a girl. She was able to help give me some insight as to how I can try and get a girl because I'm a little shy and have some personal issues like everyone that make me lack confidence. She was even a great therapist dealing with the local drunks that were there feeling sorry for themselves. She knew how to handle people no matter what type of person they were. So as you can tell the best thing about this place at this hour up until about 645-7pm is her on Sunday lol. She knows how to mix a drink also which is obviously nice for a bartender lol. I had a horrible experience at this bar. Bartenders were extremely rude. I was denied with a real New York State ID because one of the female bartenders felt that it was a fake. I am 24 and have been to many bars and never had such a terrible experience. It was New Year’s Eve and the bartender served all of my friends and when asked could not even explain the difference between my ID and theirs, ridiculous. Somewhat improved from how I remember it when it was The Yankee Peddler. They've built in a front foyer to protect patrons from hot and cold blasts from outside - nice!
