Blooms in Bunches — Local services in Town of Hempstead

I've been going to Blooms in Bunches for all of my life events since my Sweet 16 back in 2004, so they were my only choice when my wedding came around! Blooms in Bunches did all of the flowers for my wedding on October 19. I am just thrilled at the beautiful work they did on our centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsage, and a few additional arrangements!

Bileysi was a joy to work with. She was so patient in our first meeting - I know nothing about flowers, so she was running back and forth with different flowers and colors for me to pick from. The environment in the shop is so welcoming! Everyone there was so friendly and kind when I had to come in several times to drop off different vases and centerpiece bits.

The arrangements perfectly matched what we decided on in our meeting, and Bileysi arrived to deliver everything right on our agreed time. I couldn't be happier with the floral arrangements! I highly recommend Blooms in Bunches for any and all...

The owner was rude and condescending. I went in to make a purchase and she had the audacity to ask me if I had my boosters. I proceeded in telling her that it was my health choice not to be vaccinated and she commented “oh, your one of those people”. Tell me, what kind of people am I exactly? A person that made a decision based on my personal health history. A person who followed her physician’s directive. A person that clearly knows boosters do not protect you from Covid nor does the vaccine. I am here to make a floral purchase, support small businesses, and guess what, I will never conduct business with a person who feels they need to question me about by private health decisions. I will make it a point to let everyone I know not to support your business. As a business owner you should keep your opinions to yourself and not project onto your customers what is right and wrong. I am extremely upset with the flowers picked up at your Merrick Ave store on Saturday. I sent my husband with $50 to get a bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day. I could not believe how small the bouquet was for that price. It was basically eight Daisy like flowers, and some babies breathe. I do try to buy local to keep small businesses strong, but I truly feel he was taken advantage of because he was a man or simply because it was a holiday. Your website shows beautiful arrangements, and I’ve also used you in the past, and was satisfied. But if I’m being honest, I thought the flowers were something I could’ve gotten at a local CVS for half the price. It was embarrassing to present these to anyone as they looked cheap.
