One star for the lady that welcomed me in on July 26th around 430pm. I walked in for pedicure and a broken toe nail, i was told to sit in the second seat. I had to run out to grab my phone from the car. I come back to walk towards the second seat the lady at the front desk told me to go to but i see a short blonde headed man waving a white cloth in his hand from the back of the salon, i guess signaling for my attention. I look at him and i say “ are you waving at me” as I’m walking towards him. As I’m walking and saying are you talking to me he proceeded to look at my feet and did not acknowledge that I’m a customer speaking to him and he’s not talking to me. HOW RUDE!!! I got to the back of the salon where he was standing and ignoring me, turned his back , spoke to his co workers in Chinese and a lady came over to fix my broken toe. I guess he could not do it so she came so complete the broken toe. I sit down in the chair and i look up AND EVERYONE IS STARING LIKE THEY NEVER SEEN A BLACK PERSON!!!! I yelled out “well hello everyone”!!! One one lady said hello back and she was a customer. Moments later , The workers behind the desk was pointing at me and another black lady laughing, so i asked “what happened “ what’s funny”??? No one answered!!! Im pretty sure the English isn’t there so of course they talk disrespectful in their language and when you asked them about what they said they play dumb!!!! As she’s fixing my toe nail i feel the short blonde headed guy staring me down from the back of the salon !!! We made eye contact and i did not look away because his stares were uncomfortable and unwelcoming!! I stared back at him to the point he grew chills!!! Once my toe nail was complete, the lady when to go get him so he can proceed with my pedicure. As she walked towards him talking to him about me he just kept shaking his head as if he didn’t want to do it!! I asked the lady if she could do it and she took so long to answer me and wondering eyes for a simple yes or no question. I paid my 5 dollars for my broken toe they fixed and she wanted to complete everything in the end once they realized i was dealing with discrimination but i was not going to give them my hard working money. I will be letting everyone know to NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! Rude, discrimination on black ppl and...
Read moreTerrible experience! I called to make two appointments. They said I only booked for one. They were overbooked and said that I made a mistake, which I didn’t.So I waited while my daughter was getting her manicure. My daughter, which is 12, asked the lady to change the color of the flower she designed, she got upset and threw the pallets of nail on the desk with a bad attitude, and she told her upset: it is the sane color!!!!! Even, they have the audacity to charge me 27 dollars for regular pedicure when the lady just did my pedicure in less than 10 minutes. Terrrrrible! Im replying to your response, here since I can't reply under your response. First of all, I made two appts, one a at 315 for my daughter and one for myself at 430. The male guy that I spoke with knew about it, and he asked me twice for my phone number, meaning that he understood there were 2 appts. I was specific with the services. That's not the big issue. The REASON of my post is the way YOU treated my 12 year ol daughter. You were very RUDE and the way you talked to her is UNACCEPTABLE. She is a child. It looks like that you were stressed out because it is busy season, you talked very rude to the male guy who initially was helping my daughter and then you were rude to her. It is not about the price of her manicure, I never wrote about that. You brought it up. Yes, I was surprised that it was 97, because when my daughter asked, a lady told her 67. But, please don't mislead, that's not the reason of this review. You, were RUDE, DISREPECTFUL, IMPOLITE to a child, and that'...

After a great appointment I am amending my review. Cici did a lovely job on my nails, she checked the shape carefully and was very gentle. I left feeling very relaxed with my new mani pedi. I do also want to say that the salon reached out to me after my previous review. It speaks volumes that they made an effort to improve the services
First review: 3 stars This salon is ok. It’s clearly a family operation which I like, and being new it is very clean. But it’s a hit or miss. I make appointments, yet I consistently have to wait, about fifteen minutes each time.
It’s also a hit or miss whether you will like the shape of your nails or get the same service each time. I only get regular mani and pedi, and today my technician skipped soaking my fingernails and buffing the nails after filing. To pay $15 for a regular mani, and have it last 15 minutes with a mixed outcome is disappointing. Additionally every time I ask for quick dry drops, and I have to explain what they are to the technician.
In short, not great, not terrible. A so-so local option. Yes, I will be back, but I’ll have to pay closer attention if I want a consistent service or even nail shape, which is not as relaxing.
Please do note: they offer a discount to patrons who write a review before leaving the salon, which changes my opinion on the 5/5 stars they have...
