Camp Coleman needs to be looked at. While it may be a fun place to send your kids it’s a horrible place to work. They treat there staffs like prisoner. You can’t bring outside food or snacks because of kids who have allergies but why can’t they have an area away from the children for staff members to eat? The only food they can eat is what is provided to the staff and it’s the same food that they give the campers. Grown people eating chicken nuggets and the food is nasty so more times they don’t eat. My son will be there for over 12 hours working on just snacks no solid food. They over work them and under pay. $1200 to $1500 for two months of work and let me tell you they work them for that little bit of money and over work them to make sure they are benefiting the most from this. Some not all of the older staff members are rude and racist. Way to comfortable with saying some racist things like Lori who is just rude the older geltlemen who work in artistry name Brad racist just arrogant and nasty and yells at the kids a lot, Ross who I believed to be the owner or manager of Coleman camp is just abnoxious and fire these young kids who work hard over the simple things. He must fill his ego knowing he has authority over these young kids. This was a learning experience for my son and very good one because it showed him how people really are and no matter how hard you work they will never reward you but screw up once and they are ready to fire you. My son stayed the whole term because he is committed and loved the kids he worked with. God bless his heart, but He will not be working there again and I hope this review help others not make...

Read moreMy son had a field trip at this ridiculous establishment. We were told that we could pack a lunch for him. As Muslims, it's extremely difficult to get halal options on these trips. My son was told by an old man that he couldn't eat his lunch due to peanut allergies since he brought PB and J. My son had to eat watermelon really!!!! WATERMELON!!!! On a full day trip in the hot sun. This review probably will not affect most people as their kids will not have dietary constraints but think about it. Do you really want people looking after your kids that would have a kid eat watermelon all day. Please keep this in mind my kid was not the only child this happened to on the trip. Other children of different faiths had the same thing happen to them. To the people that run this place, learn to adapt to current lifestyles and food constraints. Will not be sent my kids...
