I am writing this review as a last resort, and I do so with significant hesitation. South Shore Mitsubishi appears to be a vibrant dealership with a positive atmosphere, and it's unfortunate that my experience may reflect poorly on a team that is likely full of great people. However, the unprofessional conduct and subsequent harassment from one of your sales representatives, Ms. Harly Rodriguez, have left me with no other choice. This is truly unacceptable!
My initial interactions with Ms. Rodriguez were defined by a concerning lack of attention. After I clearly stated that I live in Alaska, I was asked several times when I would be "coming in" to the New York dealership. When I raised concerns about this, I got the dismissive tone of, "I do have way more customers Sir...anyway, what are your questions". The sir, in this context, felt condescending rather than respectful. Furthermore, when she said "anyway" to my concern, there was nothing left for her and I to talk about.
Due to this unprofessionalism, I formally requested—both via email and in a direct text message—to be assigned a new salesperson and asked that Ms. Rodriguez cease all contact with me, and this is where poor service turned into harassment. Ms. Rodriguez blatantly and continuously ignored my explicit request and sends messages everyday to further display her lack of attention to what customers communicate to her. All her messages have a nasty tone of, can't you see I'm trying to ask you a question. She disregards my clearly stated boundary in an effort to justify her earlier actions and grossly displays that she is communicating from her ego rather than customer service. This is beyond repairable and very unacceptable. All I want is for the unwanted contact to end so I can continue purchasing a vehicle in peace. I truly did not want it to come to this, but what must I do to stop the unwanted harassment.
To the management at South Shore Mitsubishi I will no longer purchase a vehicle from your dealership regardless of the excellent inventory or the other "seemingly" outstanding sales representatives. First and foremost, I want to give a huge shoutout to Shania, my sales advisor. From the very beginning, Shania was knowledgeable, welcoming, and incredibly professional. She took the time to really understand what I was looking for and helped guide me through the entire process with ease and clarity. Buying a luxury EV like the EQE can come with a lot of questions, but Shania was patient and thorough, answering every single one without making me feel rushed or overwhelmed.She had a great grasp of the features and benefits of the EQE, explained the technology in a way that made it easy to understand, and even helped set up all the initial configurations so I could enjoy the car fully from day one. Her passion for the brand and genuine care for her clients really shine through. Shania made what can sometimes be a stressful experience into something enjoyable and exciting. She truly went above and beyond. I also want to acknowledge Khan, the General Manager. His leadership and involvement in the customer experience clearly set the tone for the entire dealership.
