Up-Dated: 07/20/24: A -very heavy, HORRID: EXTREMELY TENSION-FILLED; always: eerily-stiff, rigid, overly-tight, restrictive, rushed, judgmental, constraining, uncomfortable; -awkward; &, -raging-prone, silent, dismissive, hands-on tension-filled set of vibes pervades here. There are many, numerous, excess, needless rules; such as: forcing people, to follow, around a large, hugely visually obstructive counter, from behind which, customers must order; off: a, menu that tragically, rarely ever changes; stiff, tight, angry, loud, INFLEXIBLE employees; EXCESSIVELY -SLOW service, cold, small, stale: "hot" items, VERY, Very overpriced, cheatings w/: powdered eggs; lots of sugar; mayo; &, unneeded&, unwanted spices added; etc., plus: a, dismissive staff, &, a, very overly-rapidly paced, tightly cramped place, not conducive to eating inside of, make this, a difficult place to choose for anything, except: a strictly, screwed down/OVERLY-Tightly run ship version, of a pick up & take out, to go order type of non-delivery, enjoyment sort of experience. These few cases, of so-called: "higher quality", usually Long Island eateries, are usually well loved, by those who strangely, want to enjoy: a, relatively perfunctorily, emotionless, NON-WARM; NON-CHILL, HUGELY CHAOTIC, OVERLY-BUSY, NON-CALM, LOUD, OVERLY business-like, repetitively reproducible, consistent level of SLIGHTLY above standard grade, pre-made buyable foods, being generally interpretable as meaning: a, SLIGHTLY: above average, reliably good quality, very cleanliness-oriented, ship-shape, deli products eatery. It almost exclusively serves: standard grill orders; &, typical sandwich forms, w/: NO added consumer interpretations, except: everyday, daily, ordinary, blue collar worker's "good", usual, NO-RISKS, residential, suburban deli fare, &, associated side products, w/: VERY FEW, TO: NO-Upward selectivities; &, a, small modicum of slight variances of new food ideas allowed; &, an, occasional set, of minor, optional upgraded alternatives; including: ONLY conventionally, usual, beverage types. Service here is ALWAYS MIXED W/: EXCESSIVE, STESSFUL, MASSIVE RUSHES; CONSTANT, LOUD, NOISES; -LITTLE CRUCIAL ENGLISH ABILITIES, NEEDLESSLY CREATED, ENDLESS FIGHTS; NO CREATIVITIES, &, NAUSEATING BLEACH SMELLS; NO HEALTH PRODUCTS; &, TRULY --AWFUL FAKE JOKES; &, CONTINUAL, HARSH, NASTY, GOSSIP-!!

My Bottom Line: FAR too regimented; &, too lacking in: heart, warmth, sincereness, authenticity, casuality; spontaneity, QUIETNESS; &, the realities of honest, inner, soul;...for: me!!

I’ll take one crumb muffin hold the attitude This deli usually rocks! They offer a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, wraps, cakes, and muffins. The staff is generally very helpful and efficient even during busy times. However, today was an exception.I had a tough time placing a simple order for a crumb muffin with the Asian gentleman at the counter due to language barriers. It seemed like he would be better suited working behind the scenes rather than facing English-speaking customers directly.

Despite my repeated attempts to clarify my order for the crumb muffin, there was confusion over whether I wanted "crumb" or "corn." Eventually, after some back-and-forth pointing between different types of muffins and minor misunderstandings about cutting it into four pieces as requested earlier on another item - which he mistakenly took - I received my order with visible frustration from him.

It's disappointing that one negative experience can overshadow what is typically considered a four or five-star establishment in terms of quality food and service. Today's encounter felt like an unnecessary battle over something as simple as...

This use to be my favorite deli, I would sandwiches all the time from a child. My mom went a couple days ago and I said maybe it during taste good because of the drive and it wasn’t warm anymore. I was wrong. Today I ordered two bacon and egg sandwiches crispy bacon with salt and pepper. The eggs are no long fresh eggs. They must be powdered eggs, I could get that at McDonalds, Burger King, you get the point. You are going to lose a lot of customers with powdered eggs. I received one egg sandwich with cheese, which was incorrect. I was told it is under new management. It was a waste of money I thought the sandwiches out and just drank my Powerade. I will say the chicken salad on a roll I ordered while I was there was really good with salt and pepper. Don’t change that please. I have to look for a new deli. I am very...
