I went to Empire Pawn just this past Friday, December 8, 2017. OMG what a joke about this place. I requested a loan for my jewelry. I had 13 rings I presented to representative. 10 rings were 10K, 2 rings were 14K and 1 one them was 18K. Also a few of them had small diamonds and I also had 2 -14K gold chains. I first dealt with a female rep who was weighing my jewelry and trying to give me a figure but her male counterpart stepped in and said he would give me $1200.00 for my rings. But then the female rep told him I was looking for a loan. Thank God she did jump in because I was about to say to him, are you nuts, only $1200 you would give me for my rings. He must of thought I was on drugs if he thought I was going to let him give me only $1200.00 for all of those rings. To me he was the one on drugs or something. And then the amount they wanted to give me for a loan for all of this was a joke as well. I kindly said thank you and took my business elsewhere. I went to another shop in the surrounding area and they gave me a loan for $1000 more than what they were offering me here at Empire. Please beware of this place. I think they really tried to...

It truly saddens me to hear some of these reviews. Unfortunately in these hard times we sometime feel we are entitled to more then what we have. It is difficult for some people for countless reasons to sometimes have to sell your belongings. I have recently and long ago In the past have done business with empire and I must say Dave & Jody have made such a positive impact on my life with their honest business. The professionalism and education they have given me has literally changed my life this week. They are honest professional people whom if they are able to help and compensate their customers really want to do so. Unfortunately sometimes it just doesn’t work out but as far as their reputation as a stand up honest company I’m my neighborhood. I personally recommend this company to anyone who asks. It has been an absolute pleasure to business with this company. I absolutely look forward to doing a lot more business with them...
