The Little Lounge — Local services in Town of Horseheads

We visited The Little Lounge Play Cafe for the first time today and it was amazing! My 2 year old and 5 year old had so much fun! We spent about 2 hours there and my kids could’ve stayed longer. This place was so clean, cute, and fun! It was very obviously planned out VERY well. The floors are rubber and everyone takes their shoes off to enter the play area. You can see most of the play area from the cafe. You can’t see around the corner, which is kind of a bummer, HOWEVER, they planned it out well and have the sections geared toward babies and young toddlers closer to the cafe area. There is also some seating for parents inside the play area. I just followed my kids around. I did not see one single toy in the entire place that was small enough for a child to choke on! There are actually very few small toys at all, which I thought was wonderful. Most of the smaller things were food for the pretend play areas. This means the toys were not scattered all over! It did not get cluttered with toys (and things are spaced out very well, so it didn’t feel cramped or cluttered), but once some toys started to accumulate in the main play area, someone working came through and started cleaning things up. I also love that most of the toys are big toys because they are ones we don’t have room for at home, so they’re different! It was very quiet when we first got there, but more families started showing up and I thought it might get loud, but it really didn’t. Then I realized that none of the toys have sound! I think that really helped! I assume it is intentional that anything that could make sound, didn’t! Everything here is hands on, not electronic, and it keeps the noise level down! The staff was friendly. I played with my kids this time, but a lot of parents sat and watched or chatted. It’s great however you want to spend your time! The food looked yummy, but all I got was some juice boxes for my kids, so I can’t say much about the cafe part. Cubbies for shoes and other things were nice. The bathrooms were super clean and had an attached potty seat and a tall stool with sides for the sink. They thought of everything!! We have a bit of a drive, but will...

WOW! This place is absolutely AMAZING! I was in labor, making calls and searching desperately for a last minute, indoor venue, for my oldest son’s birthday as his original party was to be outdoors. They were more than accommodating and made sure our little guy had the BEST day ever! I am so incredibly thankful and they’ve gained forever customers. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! I will recommend them to everyone I see forever. Our son hasn’t stopped talking about his party since we left. All of the children adored the establishment and all of the adults were in awe of how much effort was put into the place to make it the best it could be for the kids. First time visiting with our daughter, and we will definitely come back again. Such a nice little place for kids to play in a clean and safe environment. It's nice to be able to enjoy something to drink or eat while there, and still be able to keep an eye on my kiddo. Love the friendly staff, and how they really do have kids in mind. Price is very reasonable, especially for an all day pass. Also really appreciate them being so active on social media and keeping the public notified on what they have going on.
