Today I had the delightful experience of shopping at Mattresses By Appointment. I found this store on the internet and I had been looking at other places with a similar set up around the metro area. After speaking to multiple places and either being promised a call back or an appointment time, and receiving none, I gave this place a shot. My questions were answered by Mike, and I can’t say that I have ever had a better experience being a customer at any other store. Mike was open about appointment times, and made my situation work, it was a breath of relief to not have to deal with a typical salesman. When I got to the store, I was greeted by Mike, he remembered who I was, and called me by name, he introduced himself to the company I had brought with as well, and although I was ready for an in and out experience as is typical at a store of this type, I received service that was the opposite.

Mike wasn’t interested in just selling me a mattress, he took the time to get to know me. Before we looked at anything Mike knew who I was, and he took the time to show me who he was as well, we spoke of life, and the challenges that it presents, next thing I knew, I was spouting off about my job, and all sorts of things, Mike paid attention, he really let me know that his focus was my customer experience, I know not because of his words, but because of his actions.

When we got down to it, Mike was upfront about the costs of each mattress and anything else that he had in store. I felt no pressure when making a selection, and even when I was looking at the cheapest sets he had, he still treated me like royalty. I ended up getting a bed that I am more than satisfied with, at a price that I don’t believe I could find elsewhere. Mike even delivered my bed for a very modest price, and he arrived when he said he would arrive, not a moment later.

I will be returning to Mike for as long as is possible, I will be referring my friends and family to Mike. There are few customer experiences better...

About 2 years ago, my hubby and I purchased a Perma-Sleep Endless Slumber Series in the medium firmness mattress that actually came in a box from Mike. The day we purchased, I had one of the worst days at my job and was running extensively late with a patient- but Mike stayed with my husband to meet me at the store past hours... Very late at night! Even though it was by appointment, it still meant so much to me that he waited. When we got there, he had absolutely no pressure sales, he was funny, understanding, and was extremely knowledgeable and upfront and honest about each product. Mike even allowed us to come to his house to pick up the mattress so we could have it that night. I'm thankful to him and his wife for allowing that! (Not to mention, my hubby and I took our time (my fault) so it became quite late.) My husband and I ended up purchasing the most expensive mattress we ever purchased before, and let me tell you two years later it is still lives up to its name. It is the most comfortable mattress to the point where every single day I do not want to get out of bed because it's that comfortable. Then I can't wait to go to bed each night! I read in the bed every single night, and I've had many sick days unfortunately where I've been stuck to the bed, and even on nights where you don't get much sleep, it's still such a blessing to have such a wonderful bed and knowing our experience was awesome makes it even better. The mattress we purchased started out extremely firm but over just a little bit of time it became exactly how Mike stated it would be. The only thing I recommend is definitely purchase yourselves a mattress protector! Mike did warn us ... And it only took me a year and a half later to get one 😆 so now we're stuck steam cleaning the mattress but that's our own fault! mattress is still incredibly comfortable. We will definitely purchase from him in our future. 100% genuine guy who cares about you, and wants your money to do too what suits you the best....

We’ve needed a new mattress for a few years now. Previous trips to big box stores left a sour taste in our mouth, so we just pushed it off… for 3 more years. He responded immediately and made time for us to stop in. Mike made us feel welcome and at ease the moment we walked in the door. He listened to our needs and met them with honesty experienced advice. He showed us the options that checked all our boxes. He made sure we knew all the pros and cons of each model and made us feel comfortable and confident enough to pull the trigger on a new bed that very night!

Mike went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our purchase. He was extremely accommodating about everything and even kept the upcoming Packers schedule in mind when setting up delivery! Talk about customer service!! 💚💛 The whole process was like dealing with an old friend and now we have an amazing bed for years to come. Next time we need anything mattress related we know who...
