I visited the store twice, both times near closing, and had vastly different experiences. The first time the sales woman was exceptionally friendly and encouraged me to stay and shop around, even after closing, but I had another commitment and had to find time to return. I wish I'd taken note of her name; she had a scar on her chest, which I don't really want to point out but not sure how to credit her otherwise. She asked for my email and gave me a handful of samples for it. I expected to get emails about the warehouse sales but never have received any. Her friendly approach had me eager to return when I had more time.
When I returned, the sales staff were considerably less friendly, but I attributed it to being closing time and a handful of customers were buying lots of products - I assumed for resale. I think my saleswoman was from India, but didn't ask; she was helpful but due to the late hour went to help ring up other last minute sales. Then the other customers started giving Winnie a hard time; it appeared to me that she was doing her best to total their bags of 30-60 items each, but they kept interrupting her and telling her she was rude - and then she'd have to start ringing up the items again because they'd thrown her count off. Then one threatened to give her a bad review and demanded her name. I was rather shocked, since she seemed to be doing her best to total his order despite it being after closing. She pointed out they were closed already and their frustrated threats continued. I can only assume Ryan Justin or Adem Sanliturk were these folks because they posted nasty reviews a few hours ago. After they cancelled their order and left, she proceeded to cash out, and I noted her frustration. Maybe I missed something, but the interaction seemed unfair and I'm adding this review to stick up for her. Today was hot and muggy and people seemed irritable everywhere I went.
The African American lady emerged from the back, helped me out, and was quite nice and helpful despite the late hour, and being delayed by the belligerent customers. Sigh.
I hope I can give these folks proper names in the future.
Many people said the prices are very high in their reviews. That was my initial impression, but then I realized they only show the retail prices for everything on display, however EVERYTHING is on sale for 40-50% discount. Many products were selling today for $10 each for $40-60 products.
BTW, it IS an outlet store, just like their sister store in Deer Park. That store raved about the warehouse sales here, but I've...
Read moreShopped at the warehouse sale to get a Mother's Day gift for the wife. You have to check in and show id before they let you shop. You are have to sign an agreement with a long list of rules, like no photos. The merchandise is on tables in a large warehouse and you snake your way from one end to the other. They give you an empty carton to hold your purchases. Most merchandise is marked as half off, but I don't normally buy cosmetics so I have no idea whether these were good prices or not. I found it hard to sample the perfumes because the whole place smelled like perfume - and there was nothing to spray the sample bottles on. I ended up spraying my carton, but then the perfumes just got mixed together and it was impossible to tell one from another. Not a good experience. But wifey liked some of the things I got ( she did not like the Michael Kors perfume, but she liked the Clinique...
Read moreThis is not an outlet store. There is only a small section of sale items in the entire store. Also, if you shop at their warehouse on Saturday they will demand you leave your shopping bag in your car to allow you to shop at their" regular store" near the warehouse exit. They really need to revise their policies as this is discriminatory and untrustworthy of their own customers. I wrote to corporate after a regular employee here who I was not even speaking to caused a huge scene shouting at me in December. The same employee who I had to ignore unwelcomed comments from as I shopped at the warehouse. The manager responded to my email saying I should call her to explain? I will not be returning to this store! Save yourself some time and shop an outlet store instead. P.S nothing is priced at the company store and the employees will only "know" after they...
