Iām highly disappointed in the customer service of the Hyde park nail spa. I have given this salon numerous opportunities to redeem themselves. The first incident I got my toes done, they lady doing my nails was rude, she claimed she could not buff the top on my nail and claimed there was something āwrongā with my nail. I explained that I always get the top of my nail buffed. The lady caused a scene in the salon, and was just extremely rude and her service was terrible. Second incident I went ended up having to get gel color instead of anc as usual because they did not have the color I wanted. My nails were flimsy and not what I wanted, I let them know and they wanted to charge me AGAIN for the anc service to have it fixed. Jenny the owner did work with me on this but prior the customer service was horrendous. Last and final straw was today. I went to the fishkill salon and got my eyebrows and lip waxed. The lady did a HORRIBLE job ! I still had hair, I mentioned to her and she āfixedā, still HAIR ! Finally I asked for the tweezers myself. I ended up calling Jenny the owner and explained how disappointed I was only to be told to drive all the way to Hyde park for her to āfixā it. What an inconvenience honestly. Never the less, I drove to Hyde park where from the moment I walked in Jenny was extremely rude. Jenny claimed Iām always complaining.... funny because I have spent soooo much money between Hyde park nail spa and her other salon dutchess nail spa. The customer should receive the service they desire ! Long story short she fixed my lip and brows only to tell me to take my $8 and to never return to her store she doesnāt want to see me again ! How disgraceful honestly. We pay 100ās of dollars on nails, toes, waxing etc.... we should be 100% satisfied when we leave ! Iām disgusted and I will never step foot in there again... for the owner of a business to state that is so distasteful and unforgivable. Also, this is my FIRST google review I have ever left !...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been here once but I had a great experience and plan to come back when Iām in town. Unfortunately I travel a lot and donāt always get to do my monthly pedicure in one place but when I came here with a dear friend we both had wonderful experiences. My only complaint is that I feel the top coat didnāt protect my pedicure from chipping as long as I typically experience it but I donāt feel that warrants less stars. I feel like itās a simple solution of maybe upgrading to a stronger clear coat. Typically the clear protective coat last at least three weeks and this lasted about 10 days. Not all the toe nails had chips but more than usual. I wasnāt outdoors or doing anything unusual that would provoke chipping so I feel itās only a matter of using a protective top coat thatās a bit stronger. Either way the experience here was great and I recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable reliable place to get your pedi done. What I will say that I really appreciated from the nail techs, is that they really listen to what you need and they are very friendly and considerate people. My nail tech checked on me for massage pressure and the shaping of the toe nails to be to my liking which I really appreciate. I typically bring my own nail polish and toe dividers in order to reduce waste and my nail tech was really open to this new experience and even thanked me. I also bring my own flip flops, again to reduce waste in the landfills. She accommodated my earth friendly practice without any issues. Everyone working here seemed very kind but Iām a big believer in respecting the people serving you and therefore building mutual respect, after all they are dealing with your feet and anyone going for a manicure and pedicure should respect those who are providing this service. I plan to bring my mother here to treat her to a mani pedi for her birthday and looking forward to booking an appointment this week. Thank you so...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām usually not one to write bad reviews but I have been to this salon multiple times for acrylic nails and each time there is something dissatisfying about them and this most recent time I felt compelled to write a review. For one, my sister and I called for an appointment and even though they were fairly busy, they didnāt even try to reserve spots for us and we ended up waiting about 20 minutes. I showed a picture of the nails that I wanted to the man and asked if he was able to do it and he said yes, he ended up having to redo them to eventually tell me that it was too hard. it wasnāt even the fact that he couldnāt do it, but I was more upset with him telling me at first that he WAS able to do it. He made me bleed multiple times in the process and didnāt even try to stop the bleeding. My nails came out crooked like theyāre literally sideways and when I went to pay, they didnāt even say sorry about that or negotiate a discount at all and they just tried to give me reasoning to why my nails came out the way they did because the nail tech was ānewā. Iāve been taken advantage of multiple times at this salon because iām young and they wouldnāt expect me to complain and each time iām caught them off guard trying to make me pay more than usual and give me a reason why I need to pay more when itās not what the menu says. Iām never going back here because each time has just gotten progressively worse even when I try to give them a second chance. My sister was not happy with her nails either as they were sloppy and also crooked. The guy kept looking at the clock and I could tell he was rushing me because he just wanted to get out of work and he even skipped steps while doing my nails to speed up the process. PSA to nail techs: do not try to rush someoneās nails ever!! People find happiness in getting their nails done and when it is done poorly and you can tell they were rushed, it could ruin...
