On 10/08/2020 I send a package through this packaging place to go to Tenn young man convicted me instead of using mail use FED EX the price difference USPS $11.09, FED EX $30.43, I only did it because he had only very bad things to say about the postal service and guaranteed it would be there by 10/10/2020. I expressed to him it was blood pressure meds and it had to be there by 10/10/2020 cause later that evening my son wouldn’t be home for a week. So needless to say even as of today it still didn’t arrive. Last Friday I go to the packaging place young man said yes it was delivered on the 10 I indicated no it didn’t ok I’m giving you these papers I’ll start a claim. So I’ve heard nothing and still no package I call the 800# for FED EX from 845 am till 130 pm I spoke to at least 12 people and it came down to the only thing could be done call the packaging place to get my money I had all numbers needed same young man I started to explain and when he heard refund he say yo yo you wait you’ll have to email us and then we’ll decide if you get a refund I said to him young man do you always speak to your customers that way he started to talk to me with language like we were in the hood I said you know what I’ll call the owner he says haha good luck with that, I said well ill just have to call back FED EX and make a complaint about you he said this is a “private company “you’ll get nowhere. Well I did one way or another I’ll get my money. Also someone from Fed EX tried to call and speak to him she said she was writing a report cause he was nasty and rude to her also.But there are a few things here. #1 My son has no blood pressure meds, #2 FED EX had a new driver and it got delivered to 2 different addresses, #3 who owns this packaging place.#4 does this young man known were living in a time where he should be thanking the lord the business he is employed by weather it be his father ,friend or whom ever that it is still open. #5 he should also thank the lord with that kind of attitude with the public he has a job. I don’t think he realizes how many respectful people whom need work could do his job and do it right and respect the customers as he should. I will be going in with someone else and they will be recording his nastiness, rudeness Or I will stop to the Hyde Park police and have them go in with me at their convenance. I generally drop off 1-2 items daily and coming in to and off the weekend normally a reusable bag or 2
All I had were questions about USPS drop offs and if pick ups were scanned since my items had been dropped off 2-3 days ago and still show pre shipment info. With no movement at all, I am AWARE that package movement and questions are only to be answered by USPS only. I never once asked for him to look in to any of my packages
ALL I was trying to ask for was the next time he saw USPS pick up if he could possibly ask the individual picking up to make sure that packages are scanned....but I didn't even get that far because I kept getting cut off and talked over
I was rushed with information I did not ask or need provided, off the bat extremely defensive and talked over me the whole time. Pretty sure he wouldn't have appreciated being talked to or treated like that.
Then thanked him for the rude interaction, wished him good day and, disconnected the call
Id also like to add I've seen this individual chuck packages that clearly have FRAGILE stickers all over the box EDIT: FYI that's NOT the package I was inquiring about, it was a different one, so.not sure where that random information came from since you cut me off before I could even explain ....would recommend you reread the review, I openly stated I was aware that you have zero control over USPS you seem to be missing the fact I was simply calling to ask if you can remind USPS when the pick up to ensure they scanned at pick up. This also adds to your argumentive defensive behavior and need to argue with people as seen in other reviews. Read moreJust gave the store a call for an inquiry and politely asked if the store owner was in. Was immediately cut off with a rude response of “DO NOT waste peoples time- Bye!!!!!!!”
Excuse me??? I then called back again because there is absolutely NO WAY I heard that correctly and once again reiterated that I’d like to speak with the store owner and was hung up on for a second time abruptly. I was born and raised in the town of Hyde Park and my family and I come to this center often and I am completely DUMBFOUNDED at how poorly a working customer is treated and can only imagine how other people are treated. Not sure exactly who I was talking to at the front desk but whoever has a Friday 1pm shift at this location, I’d rethink going here unless you want an awful customer experience!!!!!! Truly the most miserable man I have ever come in contact with. I hope your life turns around for you my friend!
*TO FURTHER MY POINT AFTER SEEING REPLY: ALL I ASKED was to please speak with the owner and that was the response I was given. I could have been calling for a general question , a complaint, needing help with directions - quite literally ANYTHING. I was hung up on rudely and abruptly before even finishing my sentence - you are a very very very rude miserable man and I truly wish you peace and happiness.
