Aman's Farm & Market — Local services in Town of Irondequoit

My first visit and I was very pleased with my experience. I'll tell you what I really liked, it happened as soon as I set foot in Aman's: I was welcomed with a sincere " hello, how are you today?" That's rare these days unfortunately, so when you encounter a place that still displays it, it's worthy of mention. Walking around, I saw a lot of other things I appreciated, things which will require another visit in the near future. They have a nice variety of beer for example. I checked out their walk in beer cooler and found a few intriguing looking brands, ones I am unfamiliar with- I like that. They offer a nice assortment of cheeses and baked goods too. There were many other delicious food items, and produce, as well. I had to expedite my visit because I could have walked out with a lot more purchases than I arrived looking for. It would have been very easy. It's worth mentioning too, that Aman's is a local business and has a unique vibe, a good one- another thing I like. To wrap up, I recommend a visit based on its selection, its very convenient location, and the superior customer service that they warmly offer. I will be back soon!

I went to purchase mulch and needed 2 yards. Due to the size of the bed of the truck I was only able to take 1 yard at a time, which I was told I was able to do. I let the tractor driver employee know this and he told me he left at 5 but would let a supervisor know. Before I drove away I confirmed with the tractor employee about this and he said “yeah sure.” After unloading my first yard I come back only to be told all the tractor drivers left at 5 and I would need to come back a different day before 5 🤦‍♂️, which is almost impossible with my work schedule. All in all it was “impeccable” customer service from a local family owned company. Would think someone would have enough common courtesy to let me know all the tractors drivers leave at 5 so I could have made an informed decision on paying just for 1 yard...

Love Amans. Family run. Nice selection of products. Owner very knowledgeable and helpful. Have shopped here for years, with my parents, now as an adult, and now my adult children shop here also. This 2 star rating is based on some pricing on items in your store. Maple syrup is outrageous ly priced, way above any comparable place around. River Rat Spicy Beer spreadable cheese; $9.99, and the other flavors $5.99. Why the huge difference? You can purchase these River Rat Cheeses at other stores within a 10 minute distance all for $5.99. Nowhere else is there a price difference based on the flavor. I feel like you are taking a huge advantage of your customers. We have always purchased our River Rat cheese at Amans or in Clayton. But will now be purchasing at another nearby store, $4 less for...
