Faber Brothers Automotive Repair — Local services in Town of Islip

We have been using them for a few years now. It is absolutely refreshing to find an auto service repair company that is thoughtful and above all honest. I have a 2004 Ford thunderbird that recently had engine problems. Faber Bros. diagnosed the problem and researched it and found that Ford had indeed extended the warantee on this problem. They gave me the readout, did no charge me, and I brought it into my local Ford Dealership. They repaired it at no cost to me. Had this company pre inspect a vehicle I was purchasing from a local dealer. I was from out of state and wanted to make sure everything was okay. They sent me detailed report that only called out two issues. So I move forward with the buy. Vehicle arrives yesterday and there are multiple serious issues that were not accounted for, rusted lines, shot valve cover seal leaking, shot bushings and rods, the list goes on. Great communication, but what's the point when the quality of work doesn't match. I will be out who knows how much money now because of this. They are located two streets over from the dealer, which makes me wonder if they are...

I have been to Faber a short time now, but am truely surprised at how friendly and helpful they are. Always greeted with a smile and a quick response time to work on my car. I find them very honest and straightforward guys who are not looking to make a quick buck. They did the most complete and thorough oil change. I could definitely see a better change in the way my car was riding.

I have never seen this kind of auto repair company with people who are truly just trying to do the best possible job...
