As the instructor Raphael said, "Things are different when you're actually behind the wheel than when you're reading the manual." He couldn't have been more right. I've had several lessons with this school and I went from someone who could barely make turns to a skillful driver. It was because of my four instructors who taught me the inner mechanics of what to do to develop my skills. Raphael showed me the basics of operating the vehicle and how to detect the real differences with street signs (i.e. the difference between an all-way stop sign and a normal stop sign.). Brian and Rita (I hope I said your name right.) helped me refine my turning skills which was something I had the most trouble with. And finally Alan, the instructor whom I had the most lessons with, was the one who had me out there on the roads with traffic. The two of us had many great conversations as he showed me everything I needed to know and I didn't feel distracted at all. He emanates this positive vibe that makes you feel like you can succeed with anything he teaches you to do. He along with the others taught me how to go about doing things many people find difficult to succeed at the road test such as the three-point turn and parallel parking in steps that were definitive and comprehensive. They made many visual and mental cues such as where your side view mirrors should when doing something or when making a turn release the brake, turn the wheel, and press the gas with toe control. For me as a student driver these things matter because despite how many YouTube videos you could watch on these subjects, learning these cues from the instructors while you're behind the wheel facilitates the process. The driving school itself is very flexible with payment processes. You can make the payment at the time you set up your lesson/test or you can do it on the day of. I signed up for one of their Class D license packages which includes lessons, the five hour course, and the road test but because I had already attended a five-hour course somewhere else they arranged to give me another lesson instead which was nice. The ladies at the front desk are very kind, considerate and answer all questions that you may have so that you know what you're getting yourself into. Now we're all human and we all make mistakes but these are some things to note for why it doesn't get the full five stars. For one of the lessons, one of the ladies at the front desk called my phone to tell me the instructor was waiting outside my house for me. I headed out there and no one was present. Turns out they went to the wrong address and I had to take the lesson another day which they made sure it would be before the road test. I had a lesson on the day of the road test but two weeks prior to it, one of the ladies called to confirm with me about the road test date but didn't mention anything about the lesson. When I told her about it she said that she didn't have me down for a lesson and I was concerned. Thankfully she double-checked it, found me, and it all worked out. So in respect to these two situations I'd say that they need to improve on communicating to prevent potential trouble in the future. But with all that being said thank you to all the people at Precision Driving School for everything you've done to helping me not just become a driver but...
Read morePrecision Driving School is a great school to attend if you’re looking not only to pass the road test but to learn new valuable skills, and become a less nervous driver. Foremost I would like to thanks instructor Alex for being patient, encouraging, helpful answering all my concerns about becoming a licensed driver. I enjoyed his enthusiasm and his willingness to help me succeed to attain my license. I give the school A+ for having such great instructor’s. I recommend anyone to get a package that includes everything you need to pass the road test. The 5 Hour class was informative and entertaining, I didn’t realize I was there the 5 hours. I like to add that Alex helps with any anxiety you may have with driving. He interacts with you to build the confidence one needs to be ready for the road test. I Find this strategy excellent and for that the instructor gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 as well. Thank you Precision for having great...
Read morethey told me when i PREPAID for my class that the classes that i took would count as drivers ed. they did not count as drivers ed when i took my road test. me and my mother called to try to get a refund or a partial refund as they did not use our money they way we wanted them to, and it resulted in them yelling and insulting my mother, not only to her but to me as well, her CHILD. when i called the manager about the situation he was not empathetic and very rude, just like the last worker we had spoken to. it is very clear that this facility does not care about raising safe/ comfortable drivers, they only care about the money they get in their paychecks. not to mention their road test is one of the worst setups i’ve seen with potholes and cars lining every road. if you want yourself or your child to be correctly and respectfully taught, bring your...
