I’m extremely disappointed with how Target handles its one-year return policy for owned brands. I went in to return an Art Class item I bought last August — clearly within the 365-day window — and was told the one-year return only applies to Cat & Jack, not Art Class.
That is simply not true. Art Class is a Target-owned brand, and the policy clearly says any Target-owned brand qualifies for a one-year return if you’re not satisfied. Ironically, just a few weeks ago, I returned another Art Class item (same purchase timeframe) without issue.
So which is it? One week it’s valid, the next week I’m made to feel like I’m wrong, or worse — like I’m trying to abuse the policy. I left the store feeling embarrassed and frustrated.
If you’re going to offer a return guarantee, train your employees to actually honor it. Don’t put customers in a position where they’re shamed or turned away for trying to follow the very policy you promote.

Read moreThis Target shows very little regard for ADA compliance or accessibility in general. I witnessed a guy illegally parked in a handicap spot, playing with his phone. I asked him to park somewhere else, he refused, stating that it's no big deal. I spoke to the store manager, Mark, hoping he could also let the guy know that he cannot abuse the handicap spot, but Mark dismissed immediately, saying, “It’s not my job. I only care for what's inside of the store.” It’s shocking to see such disregard for basic accessibility needs.
The lack of care doesn’t stop there. The aisles in the store are cluttered with dollies, shipping boxes, and other obstacles, making it difficult for anyone to walk through—let alone someone with a disability.
Target provides accessible parking and has an obligation to ensure the store is safe and accessible for all customers. I hope this store re-evaluates its priorities and trains staff to take accessibility concerns...
Read moreI love going to the Target store. to shop. It is clean, well stocked, someone always around with their phone to see if item in stock. They don't just give you a row number to find the item. They walk with you and pick the item up for you to put in cart. Other advantages include the Red Credit Card that gives you 5% off of your purchase. I also like the fact that when checking out with the Red Card, one has to also include a four digit security code and if you drop your card, no one can just go and use your card. So why did I give a #4 Star review? They only have a large heavy cart to push. It is difficult for a handicapped person to maneuver. I asked about this but there didn't seem to be any hope for this to be added. I met up twice with other customers outside and they were very much in agreement. Target remains my #1...
